How much longer to veg?

Hey all. I've got some nirvana white rhino fems in veg. I've been vegging them for 6 weeks since seed.

They are about 1 foot tall. I've got them under a 1000w HPS in a 1.4x1.4 grow tent.

My goal is to get 1 pound off of them.

I'm using chicken manure. Is t here anything else I should be using?
I've got this stuff called monsta bud, should i use it?

How much longer should I veg?

Cheers they are in soil.

Veg another 6 weeks atleast by the looks but thats hard for someone to tell you tho I would look to get about 10 to12 o's tho 8 a peice is some good growing bigger pots and lots of light good luck man

From the looks of them now if those plants yield more then 2 OZ each I would be stunned.
Right now they look very compact, and somewhat angry.
Sorry, I just don't think it's going to happen, but hey, blow them up and prove me wrong.

I'd go another 4 weeks for sure, at least let them fill out those pots a bit.

They probably should be more developed than they are now under 1000w. There is yellowing on the lower leafs. Additionally, they appear to be a rather pale shade of green overall. All these things suggest something is not right. For certain your plants have a nitrogen deficiency, but there may be other issues as well.

Honestly, it sounds like you could benefit from some more research and reading. It would be a good investment considering the cost growing crappy plants very slowly under 1000w, not to mention any jurisdiction specific risk.

I just used normal potting soil.
The only nutes I've used was chicken shit.
I've got some hydro nutes. Should I add them to the plants?

I'm going to the garden store on thursday. What should I get?

I haven't topped or trained my plants in any way.

Its so hard to know where to start with these types of scenarios..

Soilmaster honestly man it sounds like u need to do alot more reading and research and planning before you will even come close to 2oz plants, let alone 1lb monsters. Im not sure if you quite understand how large and well grown a plant has to be (indoors) to hit the 1lb mark.. Your talking pros territory here son!

Luckily for you soilmaster there are so many threads and growers who can help you on here.

Can someone possibly post up a few links to threads that will help him?

Good luck dude.. And if i was you id put quite a few more hours into research and planning before you get too excited.. Growing is about getting the basics dialled in, at this stage basically none of the basics you are getting right.. Those plants should be WAAAAAAY larger than they are given 6 weeks veg time. You already have nitrogen deficincies and maybe other issues as well judging from your picture.. and your soil isnt even filled to the top of the pot u are using. These problems will only compound over the coming weeks IMO.. You cant just go giving those plants this "hydroponic nutes" you have laying around.. Do you even know the NPK values of this fertiliser? Im not trying to come down on you or anything man but u need to educate yourself a bit more before asking for peoples valuable time. Your questions are very vague and IMO it shows you havent given any of this much thought at all.. IMO dont spend another cent buying gear / equipment until u are a bit more aware of what your doing. Not trying to be too rude here but i think its important to say this nonetheless..

Please tell me im wrong though and u have done some research and il eat my words up!

If not dont worry everything u need is on here u just need to spend some hours reading threads.. Starting with the stickies in each section is usually a good place to start to get the basics down..

Im thinking u should check the ph of ur soil and the water ur using. The pots look like they could have had a little more soil from the get go...

Where ur at now i think ur best bet is to mix up some veg food then balance the ph feed em, give em a few days and trip those lights to 12/12...seeing how its already been 6weeks and hope for the best dude. How far do u have ur light from plant?

Need more info if ya want more help...something is def wrong tho.

You should start over dude, Read up get your feeding figured out.

With a 1000w shit should be exploding right now.
i guess 1.5 zips off the one when all is said and done...

Thanks for the help. Wow I must say my plants are tiny compared to that one.

When I said 6 veg that included the 4 weeks seedling stage.

So for the ph I should get some lime? I read jorges grow book it didn't really tell me anything.

What should I use for veg food? I'm going to the gardfen shop of thursday.

I know I'm a noob I've only grown 1 plant before indoors. I got 2 ozs.

Should I top them today?

BTW I wasn't planning on getting a pound each plant. That would be insane lol. I wanted 4 oz's each plant.

Um not sure, i grabbed them from work, mixed with 15 diff sizes.

12" across the top
15" deep.

Show me one of your 2oz plants and i will be amazed.. I highly doubt u got 2oz off anything given your obvious ignorance to the basics..

there is a few ways id suggest about switching up your lighting for a restart. Def would suggest popping some new beans. Extremely stunted for 6 weeks. Try starting some new seeds, letting the get 3 -4 sets of leaves established underneath a T5 fluoro or a 400. and then add them under your 1000W if you itching to gt them under the 1000. But you could save power and run a mh for veg or a t5. Veg totally under one or the other and use the 1000 watt HPS for Flower or at most late veg / flower. 1000 watt can put out Nice fatties if your willing to restart and take the time to get your veg healthy. A healthy thriving veg is Extremely important for a Healthy Harvest.

It's not over yet, I've seen plants that looked miserable in veg snap out of it, and turn out half decent once they started 12/12

If you plan on getting about 1/2 OZ off each one you probably won't be disappointed, but I just don't see much more then that from how they look now.
