68 year old Boston man "accidentally" murdered, face down, during raid

A

auto guerilla

its a shitty world we live in when we are ruled by dictators that have sets of rules for us and different rules for themselves. theres no such thing as equality is there? this is why no one should have the kind of power they do cus it's always power hungry people that make it to these positions and they use it for the worst. like said earlier they look after their own. he gets to sit at home and get paid now for legally killing an innocent old man. ne one else would fry...

As long as they continue to have little to no accountability for there actions, and a slap on the wrist at best on the rare occasions that they are held accountable, these types of incidents will continue to happen, and increase most likely.

how many cops on the swat teams do you guys think, are under the impression they are speacial forces and not a civil service ? and then go in acting like this bozo. saftey off and ready to shoot anything not to mention after the fact all the fireworks were done.
No shit.. Special Forces? Special Ed more like it. Forest Gump had better weapons safety...

But I don't see this as the result of a homicidal or massively incompetent loon. This is just a human being in a terribly nerve-racking situation who fucked up.

To me it's murder. Cops need to be held at a higher standard as far as respect for the law goes. In other-words...this douche bag should get charged and giving twice the punishment. This cop's record needs to be gone through to see if any pattern exists...it's obvious he can't handle his job!!! A man is dead and for what??? So some adrenalin junky can get a rush? Bullshit...its murder 1

While falling, Officer Duncan removed his left hand from his rifle, which was pointing down towards the ground and put his left arm out to try and catch himself. As he did so, he heard a shot.”

Unless Officer Duncan is left handed, his finger was on the trigger when he "heard a shot."

one thing they left out i figure cause of the investigation is how the gun went off and where the elderley person was shot,i think those details are all important and will dissapear into obscurity at the police department, leaving no way to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that it was intentional or negligent at least.
honestly the story the cop tells sound like a joke espeacially the part about his legs and hands.

I am also curious where the older gentlemen was shot..and the cops "story" was a joke..could u imagine if any of us tried to use that story to explain an accidental shooting..we would get laughed at.

Such a sad story..the suspect was in custody..why go in the house with flash bangs

Damn, I haven't been reading the forums enough lately.

It's hard to see these sorts of stories, because they happen all of the time.
A fucking high powered rifle in close quarters?
He fucking tripped? :jerkit:
I don't give a damn what LEO say ever! In fact, I don't much care about what anyone says. There is a simple saying that rings true and straight to the point when observing police and their "explanations".

"Watch what people say, listen to what they do".

Another good one is "There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who talk and those who do".
Any time that "explanations" are given to the public, they are orchestrated by people who are good at talking (usually ;) ) therefore, I take it for a grain of salt.

Okay, I'm done. Spending too much time thinking about the wrong doings of cops drains my Peace.
They aren't worth my Peace.

seems every warrant is served by SWAT these days...with all of the weaponry they bring, more tragedies like this will occur.

i wish there was an equal force to meet the SWAT, a well armed and fortified squad to bring them the fight they are obviously looking to start...

with the austerity budgets and so forth, law enforcement should be sending the appropriate amount of equipment to get the warrant served...not every bit of armor and guns they can fit inside the jump-out van.

I disagree, I don't think they want a fight at all, especially one of equal force to what they bring, think about it, if someone in body armor with fully automatic weapons opened up on them, I think half would die from fright alone.

Look at the vids from that CA bank robbery where the robbers showed up dressed and ready, I never seen so many cops running away and screaming like little girls in my life.
Two guys pinned down over 50 of them.

surprised they didn't try to plant an eight ball of cocaine and a fake gun at the scene. I guess there were too many witnesses for them to do that

very basic gun safety. never place your finger on the trigger unless a target is aquired and you are ready to fire. fuck tripping and shooting someone. that should NEVER happen. you dont search a home with your finger on the trigger. fire that fucker and pay millions to his family for wrongful death. i would bring the cop up on murder two charges as he knows a finger on the trigger is only there to kill someone.

!. Never point your weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot.

2. Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until your ready fire.

Marine Corps saftey rules.

The scary thing is these cops are armed and geared up like their taking down falluja or something. They look like they walk the walk but reality the majority of police forces are poorly trained and lack the displine and the accountabilty thats inherent in the miltary. These guys think they are in combat. What do you in combat? You kill the enemy.......Who's the enemy? Civilan Americans like you and me.

Its scary.................You guys know who were the best Nazi SS the most hardcore? They were mostly former Berlin Civilan police berfore the war

:yeahthats

saw a movie about that bank robbery....... you should have heard the trailer for that POS ......how the "police armed only with their courage faced down the bank robbers in the street". i think they dug up the writer and director of Reefer Madness for that one. spin is king the the good old usa
