Cannabis Prices & The Coming Devaluation of the Dollar

Care to link any actual evidence?

I was just a being funny (obviously not well!). But seriously, I found this about the California medical marijuana industry:

http://www.steephilllab.com/industryreport/sept-oct-2010.pdf

I can't yoink the image for some reason, but there is a series of graphs titled:
"Regional Wholesale Prices for Medical Cannabis 2004-2010 Wholesale medical cannabis prices have varied dramatically from year to year. The prices reflected in the following graphs are for one or two pound lots. "

Graphs are separated by indoor and outdoor. Also nor cal and so cal.

I clearly see price falling on all of these graphs.

As well, the dollar is currently on the verge of losing it's world status as the #1 reserve currency.
To which currency?
The Euro? Yeah fucking right. The one good thing about a Union of States with a heavy Federal hand in Economic policy is that we don't have all the bullshit the EU coutries have with budgets and debt consensus. Unified in monetary system only, they are, not monetary policy.
This status has enabled the us to enjoy a lifestyle that we would not have been able to otherwise.

People like Max Kieser predict that when the "devaluation" occurs, it can and most likely will, happen overnight,
Bullshit.
http://maxkeiser.com/
Seriously, this is where you get your information?
Yeah, finish business school first, like Bobblehead said.
as it has in past situations in other countries. The next day, you wake up, and a gallon of gas will be $8.00 a gallon, or perhaps, $12.00 a gallon. That is what is being predicted by Max and others like Gerald Celente, and Bob Chapman.

So, here is where my point and questions come in.

Where does cannabis stand in all this?

I think, that when the cost of goods and services triples, the cost of cannabis will as well. That means that people getting $3000 a LB now, will be getting closer to $6000 or even $9000 a LB. But that will not matter too much, because your rent will increase by the same amount, and your cost of gas, and everything you consume.
What strain are you smoking and can I get a clone?
I am not even going to delve into financial markets, reserve requirements, and time value of money.
That is Econ 101 and you have yet to take that class.

i realize most of you think im an asshole for saying it but take 3 minutes out, drop emotion and look from the other side of your coin if you can.

maybe my choice of words was poor on "revenue generation" what i was getting at is wars used to put us to work. now if we do go to war it puts other countries to work building our war machine...

this speech to congress from 3 days ago sheds a little light on why a NFZ is a bad idea..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tt5fKMBveMU

this is yet another time i disagree wholeheartedly with the republitard party!
those interventionist hawks are all for a NFZ.
remember how we got started in Iraq? a NFZ. none of us here believe that bullshit about how we had the iraqi's best interests at heart do we?
do you think Libya will somehow turn out different?
in a thread about the fiscal insecurity of the dollar we suggest trillions more be printed to support yet another never ending conflict in the middle east?
I NEVER AGREE WITH HILDOG but this time...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4DYk3lpdYE
if you impose a NFZ you must also commit ground troops or your just locking the door on a car with 4 broken windows...

but ill be called a heartless asshole for being realistic..

I was looking at it from the side of the coin where war isn't all the US is good for, and also where money shouldn't be the primary motivator for lethal violence.

Perhaps that side just doesn't exist.

There may very well be an entire generation of Rosie the Riveters and MacArthurs chomping at the bit to save the world.... or liberate some other country.... just to "stabilize" the economy.

Invest in weapons and steel and get rich!

Asshole? Sure.

Heartless? Questionable.... perhaps superficially. ;)

my thing is that Ghadaffi has so blatantly disregarded human rights that we need to think about helping the innocent unarmed people who are being slaughtered cause they dont want him in power...

The head of the CIA has already said that Ghadaffi will most likely triumph.

Not too good of an outlook.

how does that jive with the "lethal violence" of a no fly zone?
a NFZ is an act of war. so to impose one is to use us for "the only thing we are good for" no?

i did write down the date where m³ is in lockstep with the GOP ;)

never said replace anyone. all we have to do is get weapons and a few marines who know war tactics to teach the rebels...

the case is cut and dry. we arent there for oil unless we make it into that.

as a world super power that preaches freedom i think we have a moral responsibility to help people who are really in need...

the reason we dont wanna go in is because of oil...

You've lost me completely.

If I wrote down all of the dates that happened I'd run out of ink.

i guess you believe killing Libyan people to "liberate" them is the humanitarian thing to do?
it's worked soooo well with Iraq and Afghanistan
seriously how do we look at recent history and see Libya playing out any differently?
did you watch the videos?
what gives us the right to decide which dictator we want in that country?
has this ever worked for us?

maybe we should take this to pms or elsewhere?
this thread is awesome and i dont wanna see it binned..

now this subtopic does have great bearing on the OP imo as to spend the trillions it will take to police Libya will hasten the devaluation of the dollar.
