The war with Iran has already started ...
The war with Iran has already started ... it began with the unilateral sanctions placed upon Iran by the USA as a result of the Teheran Embassy hostage situation after the Iranian Islamic Revolution.
The USA has since that time increased the invective and level of sanctions against Iran largely at the behest of maintaining Israel's regional nuclear hegemony. It has escalated since that time with the majority of both parties in Congress voting $400 Million USD in Overt, not covert, funds explicitly to destabilize the Iranian government and economy. This happened before 2009, with a Democratic majority in both Houses of Congress & a Republican in the White House; IMHO a bunch of chicken-shite war-hawks that can barely be differentiated from the Republicans.
One Iranian opposition group already internationally recognized as a terrorist organization has been getting funds, training, and weapons from the USA. So much for the validity of the USA's War on|of Terror. And I can almost guarantee that either USA government operatives (employees and/or contract/mercenaries) have already infiltrated Iran for covert asymmetrical warfare. It just hasn't turned into a "hot" war yet, Yet, but give the Obama regime the benefit of the doubt -- he still has 1-3/4 years left in office. That Nobel Peace Prize didn't mean much after all.
This is not something that merely happened under the GW Bush regime -- it is happening right now under the Obama regime. Of course, the rationales given are (1) Iran as a threat to Israel, and (2) Iran as a threat to Saudi Arabia, instead of (3) we're there for their OIL, just like Iraq (oil-fields) and Afghanistan (access to Caspian Basin oil-fields). Nothing quite like corporate welfare to the oil companies, since these conflicts are driving USA debt through the roof while benefitting primarily oil company profits.
In a different era (WW2) this would have been called National Socialism, or fascism -- State policies benefitting private corporate profits. More simply put: "Privatized profits, and Socialized risks".
War is peace.
Slavery is freedom.
Ignorance is power.
We have always been at war with East Asia.
Straight out of George Orwell's book "Nineteen Eighty Four". Who could have imagined in 1949 when this social fiction novel was new, that it would wind up being the Operations Manual for the USA government.

I am just waiting on the US to start war with Iran. This will be the demise of the US. You can forget everything when this time comes.
