MNS seeds - haze hybrids have some very thai dominant pheno's

CBG cannbiogen - destroyer is reported to be thai dominant

Gypsy nirvana collection - thai stick - kangativa is growing this one out n its 20ft if i recall n hasnt started flowering


The S.Easians/Thai has always intrigued me as im of the younger generation ,sadly not much pure stock is available

i decided to go with ace seeds golden tiger for an intense strain and panama and green haze/thai for a more up happy thought provoking experience.the guawi strain has a description that kind of scares me:

^^^ this, i was very fortunate to get a winner out of it! from what i have read, a lot of crap floats around with these guys, their columbian gold is by no means columbian gold for example, but that thai, daaaaamn! that thai is sour, the smell alone when i open the jar makes me salivate as if i'm about to break into a bunch of sour patch kids, when it's done just right (which i've only done once or twice) it truly can take you to another place within space, i will keep her going for as long as i possibly can, 14 weeks seems to be the sweet spot from my experience, amazingly it doesn't stretch an incredible amount, oh man i miss it, i'm at least 2 months out before i get to chop any more *patience!*

THANKS!! for that info.....very interested. I picked up a 3 pack of their fem'd Afghan Kush & Wild Thai few years ago. Never popped the Thai, but got 1 killer purple, SUPER roadkill skunky pheno from the Afghan's. Was unsure how their Thai would be after hearing mixed results on WOS, good to know someone got something good out of them.

some great info guys,thanx a bunch.i am still going to go with ace seeds,once i make my mind up...thats it,but the sativa thing is very new to me and there are soooo many strains out there.im sooo sick of drop down indicas.i want some speed damn it!all the research i have done leads me to believe that thai influence is what im looking for.im still way over my head here,but in a good way...i think.lol

I just recently picked up a pack of Delta 9 Mekong Haze. Its landrace Cambodian, with up to 18 week flower time. I figure Ill toss a couple in a corner (flowering from seed) just to see how it goes.

I love thai strains but outside thailand haven't had one that really hits the mark. I'm trying Flying Dutchman's Thaitanic soon to see if that carries the thai high.

In my experience, the thai strains are an unpredictable pain to grow. Hybrids are all I'd consider growing.

The strain that I personally think is the closest to a 70's/early 80's thai high, is a good strain of durban poison. Like old school thai, dp's high doesnt have a ceiling and can give you the spins. Good luck on your quest.

If I were trying to recreate, indoors, the thai stick experience of the mid '70s--I believe I'd try the DG DTC99 first.
(Maybe as futile as trying to recreate the Columbian Gold experience; that's where I'm headed.)

i've got a Thai Tanic mother, very thai leaning, cerebral and psyche, no body and powerfull: very nice branchy plant
but to find a thai leaning pheno you've got to search in a full pack, you'll know you've got it very soon, even in veg, coz she's very nute sensitive, she "clawn" easily. be carefull with food, even in a "light mix".
to me, the skunk and mix phenos aren't as good as chocolate thai ones coz i like crazy head high

another very good strain with thai, maybe one of the best work with it, is Destroyer from CBG.

Old Mother Sativa is an Australian sativa that is believed to have come from Thai genetics... its the type of weed that when smoked has you questioning everything you have done and where are you headed... type stone... and the hash and budder from this stuff with leave you dribbling like a jacked moron for a good 15 - 20 b4 is settles into the normal sativa high

Me and some of my friends remember a strain called Cambodian Red that is by far the very best we have ever smoked. But that was in 70 or 71....IF you can latch onto that and grow it right, I am sure you will not be disappointed. Two tokes was too much! Acid weed....
