Hiya VG,

Nah mate, I don't reckon its Mosaic Virus either (not that I'm an expert on the subject).
I meant these which !!! posted up and says he doesn't know the cause. Looks quite similar, I reckon.
I'm not sure, but I think its contageous, as the Black Diesel was the first to show signs, but I put it down to variegation and thought nowt of it, until the chemXsours started showing symptoms. I still can't decide whether or not it is slowing them up, I don't think it is. Difficult to say, as I topped them all just before they started showing symptoms (maybe the stress was a contribution?).
I'm gonna bang 'em on to 12/12 in the next few days, and see what occurs.
Anyway, cheers for having a look, doc.:D Much appreciated.
Peace.

Hiya,

Box2 is now built. Just need to get a couple of 100mm spigot plates to get the ventilation going through.

Inside Box1 is starting to get a little crowded. The lights will go off after 12 hours for the first time tomorrow. I wanted to wait until ChemxSour6 had recovered from being topped. It reacted badly and is still in shock. You can see it back left in the shot. All the rest are coming back nicely.

The Black Diesel got repotted tonight, and will get scrogged this week. She is gonna be a leggy one by the look of her.

And an update on ChemxSour4, the ugly one. The new growth after being topped is looking healthy. Who knows what it is, but it definately isn't insect damage. I've had a good rumage round.

Inside the 'tent' is looking good. Day 28 12/12. These are the first buds I've grown for a few years.....its fucking beautiful to see it all happening again. And I've got to say I love the LEDs. Bud formation is rattling along nicely.

The Crystal Limit. 12 or so heads. Still piling on pistils.

Blueberry.

Gonna have to wait to germ some seeds for Box2, until the ChemxSours have been sexed. I'm leaning toward some Strawberry Diesel F3s I have- Thank you mooch755. Also have in the fridge:10 Rez Chemdog IBL, 5 ChemDx(Chem4xSourDiesel) again, big up mooch. 4 left of the Rez ChemDxSourDiesel, 2 Black Diesel.
And the following are from VerdantGreen, big thank you mate: 10 SharksbreathxDeepChunk, 13 PowerPlantxBlackForrest, and 10 Haze from Haze 6 in his LED cab. Big up VG.
Thats not mentioning the 10 Cheesehead NYLD F3 Autos that are for the summer.
I'm spoilt for choice.:)
Peace.

Looking good. Nice selection of beans!

I hate plants that go into shock. My Blueberry x DC did sweet FA for two weeks after I up-potted her.

Hiya Blimey.
Yeah, I've got such a nice collection of genetics that I'm unsure of what to run in Box2.
I really like the look of the PowerBlack, which I've seen in your tent. How's the high?
But I've got a real O.C.D. thing about getting a decent Diesel-leaning mum at the mo. So I'm thinking the Strawberry Diesel F3s, then I can select keepers from all the ones going, back up the genetics in seed form, and start to run some sativa in one of the boxes. Also, I think its a good idea to get a few grows under my belt with the new set-up before running sativas in a micro stylee. Plus, its been a few years since I've grown anything.
Yeah, poor, shocked ChemxSourD6. I really wanted to let it recover before going onto flower, but its a jungle in there already. Being as though 6 was the only one to show any freaky tendencies during veg, I hope its a girl. I can live with a fussy plant, if the smoke is the bomb.

I noticed you were Diesel-heavy.

The only thing I ever smoked called "Diesel" stank to high heaven, of burnt rubber and skunk, but not of diesel fumes. Had a few buds that smelt of real diesel fumes. That's a taste/smell I could get used to.

The Power Black is a very happy, relaxed high. Very sociable, but pretty good for watching TV. Be careful on the dosage, it can mess you up (not racy so much, but confusing) if you bang a couple of fatties in short order. I really liked it. Shouldn't take too long, although the occasional pheno can try your patience, but they should be worth the wait, weightwise.

Smells more on the floral/soapy side rather than skunky.

Exactly mate. I'm all for sweet, fruity, floral buds, sometimes. But something sour and dank and a bit rotten and fuely.....with a high that punches you rather than cuddles you. Thats bread and butter.....or will be, hopefully.

I hear ya. I get bored with lemon......everything seems to be lemon nowadays. Give me hashy, curdled cream with a topping of BO.

Deffo with you on the high. Frying pan to the cerebral cortex is where it's at. Spoetnik #1 is the best I've grown for that so far, but always looking lol

Smoking at work was much easier back in the old days....people are much more clued up nowadays. I can remember when you could smoke at your desk in offices......those were the days.

Here's a shot of inside the 'tent'....day 37 of 12/12 for these 2. They've both had a bit of blackstrap molasses this week.

The Crystal Limit is starting to put on some weight and trichomes. The smell is.........generic. Skunky, hint of fruit, and a splash of piss. Still not really that smelly yet. Looking good, though.
Budshot.

Bondage shot.

The Blueberry is not gonna be a huge yeilder. Smells sweet and chemically, almost exactly the same as the BB cut I used to keep. Nice.

Box 1. Day 8 12/12 for these. The stretch is under way, no preflowers showing yet. A couple of the ChemxSourDs are looking a little rootbound now.

The ChemDxSourDs. Waiting for them to show sex. Nothing yet. Love the look of the 2 on the right. Numbers 1 and 2. Let's have some decent females, please.

Here's Number6 AKA 'Sprout'. Crazy.

And finally, here's the Black Diesel ScrOG. Looking good, still stretching, so she may yet fill the screen.

Balls in Box1....

Balls in Box1....

So the first ChemDxSourD has shown sex, as expected the first is a boy. He's rockin big knackers. He's the most branchy, and probably the most vigorous and healthy, so I s'pose will make a good dad. I don't really know anything whan it comes to choosing a good stud, bar the obvious (structure, flower mass, stink etc).
Number2 is definately a boy, top right in the pic.
Number4 is starting to show, too early to tell yet. Top left in pic.

So, assuming I get some females, I'll be making some F2s.

Let's hope he's the only one....

That leaf damage seems to be confined to the lower fans.....which is good.

Hiya mate,
I think that wierdness only got so bad while the plants were recovering from being topped. They all in Box1 show signs of it, including the Black Diesel.... To my mind it must be contageous, whatever it is. But it doesn't seem to hold them back any, so I'm not too bothered about it at the mo.

They look great.......2 of my 5 current girls are runts.....most of the fabulous, fast-growing, problem-free specimens turn out boys.....pisses me off sometimes lol

I bet if you could advance your frontline in your War on Mites, that would alleviate most of the little niggles. But your plants, especially lately, have looked great, and I bet smoked even better. But it would irk me sharing my crop with The Borg.

Yes i have said the same, get rid of the fuckers!!! i do share my grow with some fungus gnats but i impose the limitations and i adhere to them, but mites have no place in your garden.

Hiya r1,
Exactly mate, gotta be the boss of your garden! But Blimey's runnin a perpetual, which makes it hard to properly blitz the little shits. They are a real bitch to eradicate once they get dug in.

Actually, the reason the tent is half-empty is due to the actions I've been taking against the little bastards.

The War isn't won, but they are much reduced. Found one mite total in the buds and/or growth tip area of 6 plants I checked today. Think I'm getting on top of it.

But it's nice to know y'all are thinking of me :)

Happy days! What are you using to blitz them? I bet your yields will increase if you can get shot. So have you gone cold turkey to fight the mites? That's dedication mate!

Well, it was more a combination of things.....I did cull a few plants in the 40-45 day range that were well infested....and my germination rates have suffered (maybe due to the cold), and the cold has caused some chaos in the veg box.....and I've had a load of males...

So yeah....and with perfect timing, my arthritis has been giving me enormous amounts of grief....I doubt it's a coincidence.

But I'm pledged to give up the picky-picky, let everything go all the way, and endure whatever hardships I have to endure as a result.

I almost forgot.....I'm using this stuff....no ingredients mentioned.....stinks of cheesey feet...but it was cheap. From local garden centre.
