So my landlord just called me and says she's in my apt with the city inspector looking at the smoke detectors and I have three flowering plants in the room next door. I haven't received any other calls yet so hopefully they STAY OUT OF THERE! I just needed to vent w/ this thread, hopefully I don't get home and there's three cop cars sitting out front or something

Well the thing was she actually did let me know she called me the other day and left a message and my dumb ass didn't listen to the message. Saving grace for me is I'm in a medical state (although I'm not medical) so if they find anything I'm going to claim its for that and BS. I do need to get a new spot though. Yeah I've actually been looking for a new place for about four weeks now. I've been wanting to move out of this place for other reasons but this definitely is a game changer on that.

Yeah I'm going to go to the M.D. tomorrow and get legit ASAP. I always said I wouldn't do it but this has forced my hand, no way I'm going down for three plants, that's some BS!

it only takes about 3 minutes to change the locks on an interior door to and exterior door lock where you have a key to lock it from the outside.

Get a new exterior door knob and lock that room.

For real. It always amazes me when people in med states don't spend the $100 or whatever to get a rec when a legit patient in a non med state can get YEARS for having one plant. Crazy
