On China. I keep hearing about whether or not they will have a "soft landing." I guess we'll see. As I look around the current global economic climate all I see is a bunch of crash landing.

Just about anything natty gas is not a good buy IMO due to the major oversupply.

That's what I've heard also...U.S.A has like a 100 year Supply of Natural gas..the reason for UGI it has business overseas like Poland and Denmark so like a diversified stock businesses outside of U.S.A.

All it takes is someone out there buying the N gas and they will be other 3rd world countries that may try to run off natural gas like Brazil just using ethanol and sugar canes.

Japan should run off Natural gas because it's a small country IMO.Doesn't need oil like China does.Somewhere in China in a rural country, folks are probably running off cow dung for heat.A little behind the times so it's going to be awhile before we see anything out there.

New york used to run off hot steam to move machines way back in time.So anything is possible.

So anything is possible.
For me I like to wait until the move I'm waiting for starts to happen and is confirmed. It's like those gold bugs who for like 25 years pounded the table saying buy gold. EVENTUALLY they were right but their pile of gold just sat there collecting nothing but dust for a looooong time.

The natty gas market is very depressed right now and not attracting any money. I say watch and wait for the $ to start flowing in. You may miss the initial move but still you'll catch most of it and your money can be put to better use elsewhere in the time being.

As for China FMCN is doing very well. They're in advertising like VISN and those companies have some type of mutual stock ownership. CCME is in the same group in China. Regardless of what some news is coming out of China this company is doing very well. UTA (travel) is tanking but that seems more issue related as CTRP is doing OK.

JDSU looks like an island reversal in the making.

FMCN did well last night (eps) & been a great player in the
China ads & net play...great trader .

Eps was last night cute Fool's report "China Ads Up"
http://www.fool.com/investing/international/2011/03/09/china-ads-up.aspx

Thought for sure i had Focus Media in myu Chinese Major's List but didn't , so added it & VISN now . Getting pretty complete now

Chinese Majors (& minors)

FMCN got a good pop to $30 initially, but pulled back being a little overbought & already sporting a $3bil cap. Dam these stocks are so run up ...BIDU trading sideways $119 (RSI right in the middle) SINA $90 here & green on symp to FMCN got a classic bounce off the double bottom support @ $75 & touch to the over sold this last month

SINA ...near term double bottom bounce now the test of top again & possibly short now as it re-approaches $95 doub top

Aftermarket activity in QQQQ not a good sign IMO. Aftermarket has traded 10% of the daily volume, which was already very high, and trading down pretty significantly. Hard to believe it'll open above it's 50 MA. The semi index closed below it's 50 MA for the first time since September. Chips lead tech and they are falling apart. It's not just the optical sector that's taking a hit now. The Q's struggled to hold their 50 MA today with no bounce off that line and more it's settling in there...like ONNN and NFLX before they dumped. Individual issues are leading the way down. Considering other issues have and are failing at that line now will be very interesting to see how things develop through very early next week. This bull is a strong one and some die hard believers like Cramer...LOL!

I just love those nice red bars with today's being more of a 'churning'...no ooopmh left. Average volume is even accelerating a bit as the 'correction' progresses. That gap down into this 'correction' was never closed and just a possible view into the crystal ball of how strong the downdraft may be. I got my bag of popcorn ready.

Cramer is such a bad gimmick, he probably gets like 1% of all the advertising payment. The companies usually pay him to say.. Or else hes holding positions and wants out :moon:

also when your right enough especially on euro shorts. people are bound to get pissed. ;) i got boosted from elitetrader.com not too long ago for that. such dicks there!
I got kicked, locked out by IP addy and since can't log on to one of Cramer's Website called www.stockpickr.com because I guess someone got jealous.I paper traded with gains at 300% for 3 years in a row.Even called the bottom too for the Dow.I saw an article that if oil went above $45 someplace else,The world will save a Trillion dollars.I think the Dow was at 6700 at that time then it went up and away.I posted it in a forum (btw the forum sucks over there since all the spamming and no one stops it). Then I got banned like 6 months ago for no reason other than I guess someone was following my picks. They need to sell subscriptions so that's fair to me I guess.. lol
If no one got into Gold,Silver and that was my hedge, one would have been way ahead.

I guess one could say that I'm a graduate since Cramer's trying to teach people how to make money and I guess I did alright. Then I get banned...lmao.. but at least they allow me to do the paper-trading contest they have over there.

I Would LOVE to Short MMG but paper-trading under $3.00 on most websites is not allowed except for Google.

Yeah...Cramer Still didn't hire me and I'll probably wouldn't pass the drug test.. LOL (nahh,I didn't apply so that's a joke there)

I've read a few posts on that forum, but haven't joined. I joined trade2win forums but don't go there too often, there is a lot of rubbish on there.

Well, they don't really push any particular stocks, but day trading is such a personal thing, its like trying to get advice on how to fix a womans hair, everyone has a different opinion on how to do it that they think is the best way.

On the other hand, I have learned very much from that site and there are good threads on there. Some people just flat out tell you exactly how they trade. Just knowing a systematic way of trading won't make you a successful trader though, because most people won't follow it even if they try to. They end up being influenced by other things that aren't a part of their system.

Everything selling off right now lol.

That pesky EU sovereign debt crisis popped it's head up again today. It's hilarious how that comes and goes out of the MSM. The Europeans are furiously kicking the can down the road, but they are quickly running out of road. Maybe they can get it swept under the table for a little bit longer.

We'll see if we close below the 55 DMA. Look out below! lol

I am in ATRN and up for the moment. I am hoping to see another big push right after lunch. Might ride it to close, depends on what it looks like after lunch.

Edit: Not looking so hot right now. :(

wow, zen, talk about a small cap. market cap of 9.59m, thats a bit too low for my comfort level. Any type of volume increase could seriously effect the price action positively or negatively, risky business.
