40 days in and male flowers WTF??????

??????Why me???? candy kush under a 250 hps 2x3x5 tent. flower date 2.1.11. all female when placed in 12/12 now after 40 days or so i have male flowers showing why is this can any one tell me is this normal. have been plucking what i can see but i worry about the other girls in the tent. have been reading what i have around and this is what ive found on the subject. ""Please note that occassionally specious staminate flowers will appear in the last days of flowering of a female plant. Sounds like your environment might need a tune up.

Look for
1. light leaks
2. high temps
3. pH fluctuation
4. weak ass genetics

the bright side, now you have a life time supply of fem seeds.

some of the diesel genetics do this. drop male balls 3 or 4 weeks in. just pick them and keep an eye out. most dont return.

Well just a guess but if you are at 40 days to me that's not exactly the "last days/end of flowering" unless although I guess that's somewhat subjective..are you finding these on all plants? What are the details?

Yep, I had a flush of balls on a CDDxSD IBL at around three weeks of flower.
Picked em all off, haven't found any evidence of new pollens sacs nor any signs of seed formation on any of the other ladies in the tent.

By the way, is this Candy Kush or Kandy Kush (Reserva Privada)?

Get some tweezers and be on nanner patrol until harvest not much choice. I have some CD IBL gowing now hope I dont see any.

The weird thing is it is just the kush. they were bag seed from a buddys grow but only found two seed out of all of it so and he uses a single branch to seed out. (one branch out side of the tent in 24 light for two days. than bags that branch.) have used seed form him before and no prob. had a little prob with heat early but fixed before switched to 12/12. Soil ocean forest in 4g plant monster pots. Did just get a new 6 in 1 ppm ph and other meter so have been a lot better than the old school drip test. There is some in site of what i have going on. My guess would be light leaks. If you don't have doors and trust just plastic, usually light leaks. Some plants can handle the light leaks, some plants are like vampires, they hate the light.
