I am getting ready to post my grow journal online but want to get a couple things cleared up before I post pics..I have a 2x4 ebb and flow table under a 400 watt MH for vegging. This is gonna be separate from my DWC buckets I have in my flower room. What is the best mediums to be using to transplant when they are ready??? Should they be in rockwool inside pots of hydroton on my veg table??Or should I lay hydroton down on the whole table???

I bloom in RDWC buckets and veg in ebb/flow trays. I use 6" (5.5") Net pots with hydroton. I prefer clones either rooted in rapid rooters or from aero-cloners, and put them directly into hydroton. Rockwool can cause a lot of problems when combined with hydroton and DWC.

I will check out rapid rooters...So on your ebb and flow table you keep them in pots right???Do you take them out of the pots when you want to move them to your RDWC and put them in a completely new one for flower?

No, you want them to be rooting through the basket and then drop it into the RDWC.

I veg in these baskets with hydroton.

After I get some good roots and top the plant and she grows back a bit, I drop the whole basket into a 6" net lid on the 5 gallon buckets.
