What's new

everything i do, yeah i do it BIG

well ive been a vertical grower for years now, but i wanted to try out a large scale horizontal garden to see if my high yeilds lay within my skills or my setups... after years of easily hitting over a elbow a lamp, i wondered if this was only because of my choice of vertical gardening and if i could still hit good numbers with a basic flat garden setup..

well as ganjapharma clarified for me, im not meant to grow a boring old flat garden, thanks dude :)

is my 18x5 foot canopy times 3 thread that i started in the indoor soil section..

long story short, i choose the wrong time of year to grow a flat garden.. as its my first spring in this place i was unaware that the foundation was about as water tight as a paper bag..
with spring on my doorstep, snow melting and the rain that came with the higher temps my garden turned into a water garden.. i only had 1 drain and it wasnt well placed as the floor is far from level or graded towards the drain.. i drilled about 40-50 holes everywhere to drain the lake and it worked, no more lake, dispite the rivers that still exist..

so to sum up before i get into my new plan.. my room is 18x18x6 feet high.. i couldnt raise the plants up off the ground without loosing valuable height. and its hard to squeegie the floor with plants all over it..

beside everytime i would enter my room, i found myself loving the cleanness and simplicity of a flat canopy but kicking myself for my step back into the darkages of reflectors and shadows... i knew my yeilds would not be as good as with my priors but i wanted to rate myself with what i could get off a 1k horizontal.. i could have throwen 1 light in a corner and tryd that way but no i ripped down my stadiums and rebuilt the whole fucking room into a horizontal garden.

anyways heres some pics of what my room looked like,

ill be once again spending a couple hours rebuilding the room back to vertical.. ill be starting the reconstruction tonight and should be finished in a couple days. ill post up pics as soon as i can..

im happy to be part of this vert family again, sorry ill never run away again..

1 quick question.

stadium or vertical??

:thank you:
