where do you buy your nutrients?

ive been going to the hydro shops around me, but they dont have all the nutrients people are using on here. for instance, where would one buy lucas formula?

The Lucas formula is not a brand; It's a formula using GH FloraMicro and FloraBloom while leaving out FloraGrow. As General Hydroponics is one of the most common line of nutes in the States and possibly the world, with the Flora series being their most popular lineup, I'd be stunned if it weren't available in nearly every hydro store you may visit.

It's a sticky in the growers/nute section. I order my junk from discount hydro. have had issues with shipments in the past but they have always stepped up to the plate and made things right. Even doubled my order 1 time because of a delay in processing my order.

out of all the hydro shops around here..all had maxibloom which i picked up a 2.2 bag yesterday..Ebay is always a all u need spot to go to for sure.

Yes they do .Some strains may need more N. They will tell you what they need. if they say the need more n in veg add about 2 extra ml's of micro. I also use Kool bloom about half way through flower.

The only thing else you'll need is pH control, most likely pH Down. Vinegar or lemon juice will do in an emergency but, are astronomically more expensive than pH down. Stick with the real thing.

sweet! ive been stumbling around without a feeding schedule and so many different nutrient bottles its been a pain, ive always gotten good but quite chemically tasting buds so hopefully this will make all the difference. ive ordered the nutes and should have em in a couple days drifter and freezerboy, you may have just made my grow that much better

As FB said you need a ph tester to get the most out of you efforts. You can get by with the ph test kit (like for a fish tank). as for controlling the ph I have used lemon juice and it dose work but I made the switch to store bought ph down. I have my own acids to mix my own ph down but am not sold on the idea that I can do it right. I have been where you are at now and have the cab full of shit to prove it lol Use the K.I.S.S method. It works well and with less problems.
PS; If you order from DH, I would call in the order. you can get personal service that way. I got names of most helpful folks there if you need them.

well ive got a pH tester, made sure to get that and a TDS pen when i bought all the stuff for this grow, ive been keeping everything at a steady 6.3 throughout i dont know what i was thinking when i didnt have one before
