i have found that 2"- 2 1/2" work really the best. i picked up a okief extraction tube and am very happy with it, its 2" diameter....

its 14 3/4" long. they say that you can process 150 grams in it. but the most i can get in there is around 70-80 grams after hitting it with a food processor.....
i like the tube, my second run with it i got back 10%, which is pretty damn good....

This is what it produced. I used some preemie silver haze to make the BHO with. I made the oil for a friend who couldn't wait 11 weeks till she finished, lol. It ended up producing 7 grahms of BHO off 6 cans. Due to low thc content it only produced 1 grahm a can. Some bud that has a really high thc content can make you 2 to 3 grahms of oil per can. 3 cans max a 4th was just waisted here.

I am going to build a frame for the tubes and install two valves. One valve on the bottom to hold the liquid butane in and a top pressure valve to release the pressure. Letting me release the liquid at my convienience soaking the weed in a tube of freezing liquid butane, extracting more with less.
