Does being a Grower cause you extreme stress?

the only way i would ever get caught is if they decided to randomly do a raid with no evidence, nobody knows about my grow and it is undetectable unless you happen to ransack my whole house. so whenever i think about my plants i smile, getting arrested is not a major concern.

I just woke up and remembered my dream... I never remember dreams. Well I guess it was more of a nightmare.

I was in my house and some friends came over. They all started robbing me, cutting down my plants....I had 3 growrooms in the house and I couldn't protect them all. I think my dad showed up in the dream and helped me save some of the crop....I was screaming police in spanish....very weird.

So yeah, I got a little growers stress every now and again. That dream was a reality at one point. Someone broke in to my house and cut down a 10lb harvest. Pretty sure it was a friend.

Growers have a number of problems to deal with day to day. Hard to find a good girlfriend for instance. Hard to leave town at all because whenever you do shit dies.....

And here I thought I was the only one that had nightmares! lol If I go away for a few days and on my way home I imagine there's gonna be a cop car in my driveway. Even though paranoia is a pain in the ass, if you're not paranoid a little bit, you shouldn't be growing, I say.

I dont feel stressed.. I love what I do... But paranoia comes around sometimes, specially after a good smoke..... but when I think its just a plant I calm down cause I know that Im not harming anybody.. I feel in my heart that is a righteous thing to do... plant your own cannabis is a dream for every smoker...... but I get some nightmares sometimes just like Pico's.. like somebody is cutting my crops... but I awake and everything is cool.

I used to be concerned about being caught, but if your careful and you run your game straight then you have nothing to worry about.

I personally think the Police have better things to do than bust hobby growers and smokers like a lot of us here are.

Indoor sucks for the paranoia & extreme stress. It comes and goes for sure, and seems to get better, but the show has just begun for me. The nightmares haven't come yet but I've had them during outdoor harvest so I'm sure they'll be around soon.

My biggest risk factor aside from a fluke is that I don't blend in to the house I'm renting, it just feels unnatural to me. I counter this by leaving as early as I can in the morning (between 5:30-7am) and coming home around 6 & watching a movie first.

I run a ship so tight that the Navy ought to take sub-building classes from me, but that still doesn't prevent paranoia. Every day I think to myself: "What should I do next to make the garden more secure?" When you run out of answers you feel a lot better at night.

I spook myself sometimes. Try not to worry too much. I would hope in front of a jury they could be conviced I was small time personal grower. No scales, etc.

yeah, most of the time i'm fine with it but there are nights occasionally where i have fucked up dreams of law enforcement raiding me with guns drawn, etc. about once a month i get those.

I went through a terrible six months of extreme paranoia. To the point of waking up in the middle of the night, and peeping through the curtains. Smoking never helped, it just made it worse, but I was a glutton for punishment and continued to smoke. Eventually I got over it, and figured if it was going to happen it was going to happen. If I became a felon, then I was going to go big, and make my income the only way a felon would according to society. This was a few years back, and these days, I just make sure my security bases are covered. This makes for easy sleeping at night, and very little over the shoulder checks.

I still instantly think bad things when I follow a cop home, or see a fire truck. I always think if the cops are in my driveway, I am just going to keep going until I am in a different state. I feel retarded, considering all this for a PLANT.

I've always said growing outdoors is a 6 month paranoia trip, and rippers are a bigger threat then Leo where I live.

you are better to go big before you get caught imo because you might as well get popped for something worth while..

everyone trying to stay small to avoid trouble is working ass backwards i believe..
go big before you get pinched. a first offense even something serious goes over easier because its a first offense. and if you harvest a big crop and then continue big, at least you might have enough stashed for a great lawyer...

if you worry about the cops and the lifestyle too much, it might be time for a career change.. stress is a killer.. if you cant handel the stress and dont have a huge grow, work harder legally and buy your herb, youll probly live longer...

especially the last part..I have had some scary encounters..I knew if the cops or FDP was outside of the rent I was gonna book it to another state and never be seen again lol
