Stanislaus County, Who Would Have Guessed.

Stanislaus County, Who Would Have Guessed.

That truly blows chunks ... and dutifully reported by Faux Nudes, so the story Has to be accurate, Right?

Betcha there's a long line of Prop 215 recs taped to the inside of the barn door, ignored or overlooked. No doubt the DEA was invited in on this raid, so the 5+ people nabbed on the scene are FUBAR. All on a tip from John Q Public.
People, be good and if you cannot be good then damn sure be careful ...

It would have been nice to have more pictures, just to see the level of thought (and $$$) that went into this endeavor. 50 elbows every 3 months, and $4,000 per -- that must have been some really good shit considering this year's bumper crop, plus the shitty economy.

:tiphat:

$4000 per pound! hahaha, more like $2000- 25000 for commercial bud. That setup looks pretty lame with lights every so often about 6 -7 feet above the plants. Either way, this is retarded!

altho no one should be arrested for weed, i have to say im not dissapointed to discover that none of these commercial buds will be hitting the street. Sounds like quite the op, but the police are calcualting it at 4 zips a plant and most likely not every plant was even flowering, fuckin cops and there inability to calculate simple numbers.

They thank the dutiful citizens for turning them in & keeping Stanislaus County safe ... then read the sideline links of the other news in their neck of the woods . Looks like they better bust more speed labs quick cause looks like MJ least of their problems...and most cops throughout the USA would agree <g

The barn could produce 500 pounds of finished pot every three months, and the street value is $4,000 per pound. Agents also found four rifles and one handgun.

That is badass. all off a commercial diesel generator.

MODESTO —
Narcotics agents busted an indoor pot grow they say produced $2 million worth of marijuana every three months, which is the largest in county history. The barn was filled with 2,000 marijuana plants, and the basement was used to process the marijuana.

Agents say the facility had a large commercial generator which provided power to a sophisticated lighting, irrigation and heating system.

The barn could produce 500 pounds of finished pot every three months, and the street value is $4,000 per pound. Agents also found four rifles and one handgun.

“This was a very elaborate and productive illegal marijuana grow that was producing high quality marijuana”, said Lieutenant Clint Raymer. “We are always grateful to have concerned citizens who are willing to help improve the quality of their community by reporting illegal activity.”

Agents raided the barn thanks to a tip. Five suspects were arrested on scene.

Thats to close for comfort. Why did they get ratted out? must have been a neighbor. If this was a barn sounds like farmland. Frakin Leo leave us alone we are not hurting anyone.

Yeah i agree. Lights 6 feet from the tops. These guys didnt really know what they were doing...

The authorities love to blast everything out of proportion, hype it up. $4k for an elbow was much more realistically around the 2-3 range, especially if it was commercial. Hell of a setup though. Guys got too greedy, imo. Shit that big doesn't stay invisible for long.

Its not like they owned the property though, it was abandoned. Even if LEO heard a guy talking about his cousin who mentioned a rumor about said abandoned warehouse smelling funny or, anything weird. They would just show up and check it out.

Seems awful risky to do something in an abandoned building.
