Hey there, i run 2x600w aircooled and i use a 440 6" inline fan on a fan speed controller set to low, you could prolly use a 240 cfm one without the speed controller. I dont use c02 but if u had some extra cash to spend on that stuff u could buy a tank or one of those c02 buckets. Good luck with ur setup.

for me, a solar and palau td-150 (love it) keeps my tent environment comfortable
its 6" and 290 cfm max and and draws 65Watts
i pull it through a carbon filter and through 2 600W lights like your proposing
if i did it over again, i think i would get an 8" fan just for overkill
don't know about the co2 though
seen too many monster buds without it

How loud is that fan? What sort of inside / outside temps do you see?

Anyone care to suggest some actual models of fans and filters?
I'm thinking a fan and filter in the tent itself (to cool bulbs and scrub air), and also a fan and filter to exhaust (and scrub) the room?

Any 6" fan pulling over 400 cfms. Personally I like to go "overkill" on the scrubber........in your case, I'd run a Can 66.

I was planning to use that tent.
No CO2, just two fans--one for HID light cooling and one for tent exhaust. An S&P 150 to draw outside air through the lights. An S&P 200x (discontinued 8" model) to pull through a Can 66 filter for ventilation, speed controlled by temperature. Quite a lot of ducting to bring air from outside the house and then exhaust out the other side.

Doesn't your watts per SQFT drop off to something like 37.5w per sqft ?
32sqft with only 1200w ?
Do you know this is to be sufficient for that space/

I'd think about two 1k's for a 4x8. If you can. Even with 2k there would be no point to CO2.

Also, aim for about 400cfm on the fan - a decent 6" centrifugal is perfect, better to have a bit more than you need (even without a controller, just good to have a bit extra ventilation). Depends on your ambient temps, though. A TD-150 would be pushing it on the small end, but a TD-200 would do it.

Exactly I was trying to figure out what I was missing.
As I have the 4x8 and run 2 1000w all cooled quite easy with a 6inch vortex
