Just got a SICK new Tako Vapor curve and i have a gram of OG Kush oil and a gram of Purple Kush oil from harborside. I dont understand how you guys get such MILKY huge bong rips??? I have mine on a luke wilson 6 arm tree bubbler 90 degrees. using a butane torch i heat the ti pad until glowing Bright orange, usually about a solid minute or two using a flimsy butane jet lighter. I swing it under the curve, dip a straightened out paper clip dipped it in, got a nice bit on and place the tip of the paperclip on to the surface of the pad while inhaling. it all "disappears" off the clip but almost ZERO smoke can be seen in the bubbler and i hardly exhale (tried 4 attempts)...mind you it cant be the fault of the curve because its a very well made piece and the smoke and vapor are not escaping the bell...dont get me wrong...i'm HIGH...i smoke daily though today i hadn't smoked until the oil since this being my first time smoking BHO...most pleasant high...but how do i get those MONSTER RIPS that MILK like a huge bowl like everyone smoking BHO right gets??? what am i doing wrong??

(forgive my ramble ...im this stuff has gotten me HIGH...but i would still like to get a MILK hit with it)
Thanks guys!

lol. Make sure your oil isn't running off the pad. Make sure the pad is level. Have a buddy watch or get a mirror. The answer will become apparent real quick.

I have a glass rod and not a paper clip. I would use a cleaned flat head screw driver over a paper clip. Only because you can get more on it. My oil hits are fat.

And yes, let it cool back off for 10 sec before hitting.

Another thing. I smoke A LOT of herb all the time for years. When I first hit my vapor swing it was like smoking for the first time again, just strait silly retarded high. Now that effect has lessened, but if you are not getting a similar result then you are doing something wrong.

skillet to hot maybe :dunno: ive noticed with mine that if its still glown when i dab that the oil will sizzle , jump and not milk like when i let the pad cool a lil first :chin:

yea im making sure its not glowing when i dabb...i think i just need to dab larger. makes sense...how much milkiness could possibly come from a dab the size of a paper clip tip.

yea you might just wanna try and put some more on there , the pad should have a slight glow when you dab on it
i get a nice little milk with around .05

From a paper clip tip, I would equate it to a pinner bong hit, or smaller. My oil hits look like 3 foot bong hits when I exhale.

What they've already said about being too hot. I noticed the same thing using an oil well when I switched to a Ti wand, from a quartz one.

I now heat to a dull red and then allow it to cool below incandesence.

If you use a larger diameter wire, you can transfer more oil per trip. I either use a piece of .045 17-4ph weld wire or a .125" diameter one, depending on how runny the oil is (decarboxylated or non-decarboxylated).

I carry a couple of different Benzomatic butane torches in my 4:20 box for use with steam roller oil wells, but at home I use a big Benzomatic propane torch, sitting on a fat camping stove propane bottle, instead of the tall skinny bottles typically used for sweating copper plumbing. It is a little noisy, but really fast for heating up wands or skillets.

It works so slick that two more of our local skunk pharmers have followed suite for home gatherings.

One other quick thought! I have also put BHO in a glass crack pipe and over heated it, only to discover how much black suet is produced when it actually is burned and what it must do to our lungs. Keeping the temperatures down in the vaporization range avoids that and is really the whole point.

Get yourself a concentrate wand. I put a nice dab on it. The Ti pad does not need to be that hot. Make sure you use the mouse hole with the wand and toke away. My oil will put my lights out. I have passed out a few times from it. I have the same Tako Bell as you. There are only 2 HMK and Tako bells. Similar design but look diferant. I like the Tako bells more.

Good Luck

im all for smaller dabs and greater quantity.... never understood the appeal of feeling my lungs collapse

Some of us'n with really old lungs look forward to sneaking a toke past them without them going into convulsions. I take multiple small tokes as well, usually two (or three) to medicate, and do my best to do so without upsetting my lungs.

Vaporization doesn't attack my bronchial passages like smoking, but cannabis is still an expectorant, so should be treated accordingly unless you like the added boost from the coughing and the hyperventilating that it produces.
