Swelling at nodes, concern or not? w/pics

Hello folks,

Ive got a girl at about 2 months of veg and right about ready to flip it over to 12/12. Strain is unknown.
up untill yesterday shes been on a 150w hps and one fluoro tube. I upgraded to 400w hps yesterday and so far so good.

I have noticed some swelling at the nodes which i am not sure is a bad thing or not? as you can see i have pinched off my big fan leaves as she was getting way too bushy. She looks healthy over all. She has been sucking up about 2 litres of water a day, more like 3 now with the 400w.

Can anyone tell me if this swelling is a normal thing or not? Everything has been going so good for my first hydro attempt, id hate for it to go south now. anyway check out the pics and let me know what you think.

Genetic, some plants display that more than others, but they are fine, sign of a healthy bush. You should have nice strong branches for great buds.

Hope it all finishes great.

edit: also, the high water usage is great...water in, water out, water in, water out = nutes in, green out, nutes in, green out!

Is this plant from a clone or seed? I am asking because at 2 months veg you should see two little white hairs at each of those nodes if the plant is a female. I think you may have a male on your hands.

Yup, should've started to show preflowers... and a tip when you prune and remove fan-leaves, don't leave so much stems/stalks behind, they'll only invite fungus and rot.

ya theres definately lots of pistils or preflowers all over it.. some of those lower branches dont have em at the point where the node meets the main stem, but theres lots all over it. i think everythings just fine.
