Well honestly depending on what story about indian joe or whoever suposably invented or rather breed northern lights it is a kush or rather an ibl from the kush regions. Now this is the same with any seed you will buy people hear a strain and buy weed because of that . Now here is the truth seeds are like children if both parents are white white you will usually have all white children that is where the simularities end. Right now there are probably like 600 bags of northern lights out there that have nothing to do with eachother the same is to say about kush. Just buy a pack of seeds you will see. Out of your females you will get several phenos none the same usually. Each female usualy has its own fingerprint at least usualy its own zip code. The only seeds Ive ever popped and seen a uniform crop were sour bubble. Now with a strain like northern lights you have probly 6 strains that people have called this and 20 seed companies to realese beens the name northern lights is a joke.

thats an excellent point vaped..when i say northern lights i really dont know exactly what that means..got some supposed nl clones from a guy and it's all i've ever grown..all i know is it looks like pictures i see of other nl on icmag,lol..

i grow 4 nl under a 1000 watt hps in a 8x10x8 room..spaceghost,i just hear everybody talkin about kush and i'd like to try one of em...cost aint really a big deal..

if youre buying kush cuz people are talking about it, you want OG or possibly Bubba.

NOT hindu kush, which is a completely seperate thing. I'd rate it as ok pot, not hype worthy.

lots of seeds says "kush" just to cash in, you have to read through these lineage descriptions carefully.

Before things got medical If someone had a good strain they either named it g-13 or nl#5 is it was indica or haze if it was sativa. Any of wich are good given the right pheno. Now buying a pack of nl or kush and expecting somthing you will recognize as somthing you know thats a long shot.

look at some of rezdog's offering if you want "kush" they are pretty pricey though.... but as long as you're a competent cloner what is 2 bills for a lifetime of outstanding weed?

If you want a "kush" someone here already mentioned it... SOUR BUBBLE. First time I got some I also had a sack of bubba "kush". Others who had the same buds as me said the same thing, very similar to the bubba, only the sour bubble is better.

I just harvest my first sour bubble (from seedboutique) 2 months ago and still the same thing, it's just like the bubba kush, only danker!

For Northern Lights...check out the Atomics NL...gets rave reviews..

For Kush...you can get some of Reserboir's Trainwreck Kush which you should have no problems finding a keeper in every pack.

I can not personally vouch for Atomics...but Dutchgrown seeds and Reservoir have been stellar...
