Dank HAZE

Well! The beans arrived yesterday. 3.1. Spring is right around the corner, great time to start some beans!

I'll be testing "Dank Haze". Thought I was originally testing Cheesedog, but its ALL GOOD. This pack will be great, just by the lineage. DNA Sour D x SSSDH. I haven't worked with any SSSDH yet, but hear its a real winner. I already have sssdh ix-i coming, my garden is getting soury and hazy. Eventually I was hoping to work some Cheese and more Chemdogs into the garden, but there is nothing wrong with more sour and haze. Obviously I'm a big fan of Sour D.

A little while back I asked conn. gens about the sour diesel cuts they used. I cant remember what exactly was said, and I deleted the message. I think it was something like "both were given to them as Sour Diesel and both were amazingly dank so they kept both cuts." And of course the SSSDH males used have been proven winners. I expect to find some amazing plants, very SD leaning I suspect.

I'm hesitant to start the whole pack, I like having back up seeds available, and I have a knack for killing seeds. Which is why I am finishing up a little germ experiment/test before I start these seeds. I'll probably get them soaking later today, though! My other problem is unless a plant is a HUGE letdown I'll want to keep it and run it again. I'll be hoping to only find one or two good males/females, but I doubt the numbers will be that low. I'm very easy to please and have high expectations for this strain. :D Thank you guys for giving me the opportunity to test for you. I'll do my best to do justice to your company. I expect phenomenal results from this strain, albeit my minimal growing skills.

Germination test on random seeds.

Germ test results.. : : : I can germinate seeds. I'll be extra careful with these 10 seeds. Soaking in h20 right now! And I picked up some fresh Roots Organics soil today so when they are ready they have something nice!

Some quotes regarding Dank Haze, from the creators, hope you dont mind me throwing these in here, found in other threads in the CGS forum.

The DNA Sour D cut is much more stoney that the CC cut and more meaty in favour......check out Herbalizors excellent side by side grow of them with full description of both to give you a better idea, he gives a great rundown of them and grew them beautifully.
He has the mother of our Chemwreck and should be posting pics of her soon so keep an eye out for those, gonna be some serious frost.

double sour diesel haze= capt krip sour d x sssdh malle
dank haze = dna sour d x sssdh

the double sour does not stretch crazy like the sssdh
it is still a good idea to train for optimal yield
we found 70% diesel dominant when growing these out

peace

Hey everyone, thank you for stoppin in. I'll probably be adding alot of random stuff in here, I'm pretty eccentric, but I'll try to keep it on track.

Not much else to do when were vegging plants out but talk about plants. . .

10 seeds were put in h20 yesterday around 9-11Am. By 11pm, a slight poke to the seed and they sank. Planted them into peat pellets and humidity dome this morning. Some of the seeds were cracked and launching tap roots.

The germ test before I planted these was very beneficial. I would reccommend practicing before you start a good pack of seeds, if youre like me and kill seeds alot. I've accidentally almost killed whole packs of seeds before almost. Anyway, I expect 10/10 germination on these babies.

Which brings me to the original point of this post. I want to showcase the visual appearance of these seeds. They are very pretty with these intense tiger stripe things. See?? Eh, the pics arent too good, but hopefully you get the idea. I wish plants grew FASTER! ! !

allliiiive!!

allliiiive!!

Well it looks like all ten are going to grow so far. 7/10 were up in their peat pellets and were transplanted into 18oz red cups yesterday. The other 3 were a bit behind; they were down in the peat a bit deeper, but all 3 came up over night with a little encouragement, and were transplanted this morning.

I dont want to put them under the HID just yet but I'm outta flouro's. I was going to leave them on the edge of the light but thats just asking for them to get knocked over. I'll be leaving them on the counter near a window for a few days then adjust them to more lighting. I dont want to stunt them with too much light, but havent really researched the consequences ect... feel free to inform me :D

Bored so I thought I'd do an update. All ten are out of the ground and growing. We've got 7 taller ones that got transplanted first, and 3 shorter ones that stunted a little and were transplanted a day later. They are all doing well.

Everythings looking good. I just realized something though. It will make things...interesting, to say the least. I realized last night that I've only got 14 more weeks until the lease is up on the place I'm living. We will probably be moving after that, but have not looked into where...So basically, might be moving to an unknown location. That could mean my parents house, my own apartment, cardboard box or trailer down by the river, lol. Or, the landlord could drop the rent and have us stay; anyway, after 14 weeks my future is unknown. Sure puts a spin on things because in 14 weeks I should have some huge DANK HAZE monsters. Ill put em on top of my car and parade around. Not really.

But I've seen a 5 foot mother plant in the back of a PT Cruiser, styling like a G! This is what happens after my morning coffee, I just spit rambles out everywhere. Anyway. I doubt the DH will be sexed and ready to flower in 2 weeks, leaving 12 weeks for flowering, so I'm not sure what I'll do. Play it by ear.
