done 6 ounces of a horizontal 250hps run, running that bulb vertical what can one expect? say 8 ounces? any thoughts? thx for any shared wisdom
not really u said nothing. lol
I suppose it could depend on a lot of things. How "dialed-in" was your first grow? Are you using the same strain? Are the temps going to get worse, now that summer is fast approaching? There's a lot of variables. I don't think just switching from horizontal to vertical will make that much of a noticeable difference, or everyone would be doing it. That said, I'm also planning on a vertical grow of my own with a 250w HPS. It seems the majority of vert grows are larger, multi-bulb operations. I think there is still a lot to be learned about smaller grows and maximizing your efficiency. I hope I helped at least a little bit. Stay safe!

You're a douche, it'd be better if you didn't join this club
everything guy said above is something you should take in to consideration. if you're bothering to ask people online how much YOUR grow that we have little detail on and no photos of will yield, then you need to hear what he said- they're important things to keep in mind for a noob that landed 6 oz of larf.

yeah i pretty much never run horizontal, total waste of light, thx guys.
Room for improvement in his horizontal grow? Sure. But why not make some major improvements by going vert?
.....
9 ounces...50% more. 4 x 2.25oz plants
You may want to make up your mind.
Here's a post from you last week.
So you almost never run horizontal but you're asking about running vertical?
You must have those mystical bulbs that operate in the fourth dimension.
if your veg room isnt completely dark at night but dam close is this cause hermies as well? say your girls get a little light on them here or there, should i worry
thank for checking my post, heres my plans
1. lights 400hps + about 60 watts of 6400 cfls (theese are for blue light n not to increase yeild so much)
2. 3 gallon containers
3. Northern light seeds (ten) feminized
4. veg=about 2 months
5. medium=mostly peat, perlite n some castings.
ive got a great green thumb but know the game is largely played with lumens.
but haveing such a long veg im wondering if i could pull say ten ounces.
whats your thoughts, i saw one guy on the ic pull one pound of one chronic plant vegged for one month under a 400 light, he had it really dialed in though. thx one an all for any insight u might have to share with me.
looking for big yeild n strong stone, cant waist time on reg seeds only allowed 12, what would u run that would yeild plus not come out like shawg auto hay?
