My eyes! i think a single water mark through the center of the image would be fine.
unless it was to sell the watermark then good job.

yeah still messing around with the water mark, the fourth picture has the best water mark in my opinion. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks for the input.

yeah 4 is better by FAR but i think you can cut down on the over all amount of them and you should be golden. I think everyone likes macros for sure and always welcomes new photography here.

maybe one single line with 40% opacity right through the middle of the image

I think its hard with macros, because there is so much room to crop the image and still make it look good. I've seen a lot of people using other people's work as their own and its really hard to do anything about it after the fact. I love to share my images and want to continue to share them, and still protect them. I will try to work on the water mark. Thanks for the input

Thanks Marlo, I'm using a canon 50d, lighting used was the Canon MT-24EX perfect for macro. These were shot friday and last night using the 65mm MP-E Macro lens. Its a great lens but pricey, at $1000 so i rented it from my local camera shop for the weekend. Cost me under $30. Usually i shoot with a 60mm macro lens.

Nice. Very nice.
I had my eye on the MP-E, but when I tried it out it seemed like a very difficult lens to use. And almost impossible to use handheld at more than 1:1. I don't think I'm ready for that one. I'm now very turned on by the new 100mm 2.8L. She will be mine soon.

Anyway, more pics please!

whatever bullshit you got all over the picture kind of defeats the purpose. no one needs to steal your macros dude calm down. i can go take some macros right now of any random plant in flower and you wouldnt be able to tell the difference.

It was hard to use at first and the first 100 pictures or so didn't really turn out well but the more I shot with it, the more I got the hang of it and really liked the lens. This is the first weekend shooting with it so I think its going well. The best I can shoot by hand is 3:1 Past that I need my tripod. $1000 is still a crazy price tag for a lens. I will try to rent it again in a couple weeks right before harvest to see more amber heads.
