yea MGK, snow hash is easy, i have an ice maker, but she doesnt keep up with the amount of ice i use.

big JT, sounds like you got it.. when i made rice krispies treats i used reeses puffs instead of rice krispies. came out decent, but ive always made really good cookies, i buy the ones you mix and it calls for a full stick of butter!

snowed in again. but im about to make some BHO so its all good :D

I used a full cup of crazy strong melted cannabutter in each of these treats, both came out excellent. Made another batch of butter too because unfortunately, I didn't have enough to make the cookies and I didn't wanna skimp out just to make one more thing. I do a QP into 2 pounds of butter, 3 hour stew on low mixing it everytime I grab a beer(every 10 minutes)

Lord Fatblunt, I've been scouring the forums in my quest to educate myself in the ways of coco growing. It was brought to my attention that you might be a pretty good source of info on the matter.

Many questions in general, but i will try not to bombard ya with all of them at once.

First off, hoping to get yur humble o regarding organics and coco. I am under the impression that it can be done if micro beasties and michorrhizae are introduced to the soil to aid in the breakdown and consumption of the og minerals. I have used a dual product called EA(earth ambrosia) and EN(earth nectar) in the past for soil grows and it is designed to do just that.
I realize that you dont claim to be an og guru, but any info on growing in coco using organic method would be nice.

im not an organic grower, but heres how i do...
i use botanicare 5Kg brick coco. let that hydrate over night, and use chunky perlite. i water twice a week, feed every other watering, P.H is usually 5.8. E.C is raised accordingly, from 1.2 - 2.2(heavy feeders).
i went over my methods with E.C recently, but since your organic, a list of products i use isnt going to be useful.
i hope this helps to some extent. feel free to ask more questions, i know there are organic growers in here, im sure they'd b glad to help.

Vado looking good man those plants love you

I'm experimenting with coco right now and I started some seeds and clones in 5Kg brick of botanicare but I didnt let the coco soak and I didn't mix enough perlite in, as you can imagine I didnt get good results. I transferred to a 1/2 coco 1/2 FFOF and some EWC for good measure and they greened up right away.. I have some learning to do with CoCo and organics.
advise would also be appreciated here
I'm organic and I don't use my PH/EC meters very much.
I need to really be using them every time also checking run off.

I'm really thinking about incorporating the Blu-mat system into my room... some reservations I have about it.. I use the EJ line of nutes I also bubble to create a bloom of micro's and to raise the ph. my concern is the clogging of the lines. I think it would be a mess. anybody use the blu'mat system here?

sounds like we have alot of coco growers now!!
i always prepare a small feed on transplants, this coco's runoff comes up as .2 EC on my trenchon, and my water is .2EC... so this coco is clean. ive noticed the botanicare to be decently airated but i like to use chunky perlite, (the smaller stuff rinses to the top after several waterings.)

i dont have experience with the blumats, but ive been looking at them. ive always wanted to do a outdoor run with them. keep a bucket to catch rain water. hit it off with nutes every so often.

Sup Northeast! Been a little while since ive been here. I have been a recent coco convert myself. I love the stuff. Used blumats before with a few issues, might try vert trees on an automated watering system with 50/50 coco perlite and blumat backups.

Vado, those plants look healthy, cant wait to see them in a month! Leon is my man, "Ima go eat my mo f*ckin chinese food larry" I got a Cam'ron mixtape and he keeps shouting out vado, is that where you name came from?

Back to the rolling paper discussion from a few pages ago, I like raws and elements. Mainly elements these days...wasnt such a fan of the raw organics. E.C. you gotta try some of these new papers if your used to zig zag 1 1/4"....It will be like you didnt roll with anything.

Upinthecut, It wouldnt be a good idea to use bottled organics in the blumat rez. There will be too many floating particles and it will eventually clog your lines. A suggestion might be to feed twice a week or however many times you need to by hand and have the blumats with clean water to keep the medium moist when you arent watering. Yeah, it kind of defeats the purpose of blumats but I think it would work out well.

Vado, dam thats a jungle. "Some times it makes me wonder how we keep from goin unda"

Yea about the EN/EA i was planning on using liquid bottled nutes that are OMRi listed to top feed. So hopefully that works, ill be sure to let yall know. Big up..:dance:

FAtBlunt, do ya mind tellin us a bit more about yur coco method. Do you use maxibloom Kiss Method? It seems sum think its godly.

I will probably run four diff side by side grows pretty soon.
All with 75% coco,25% perlite The GH compressed coco bails that are OMRI listed, flushed and ph balanced.

1. using liquid top feed ; EA/EN, Biobizz(GH omri line)
2. using EW castings, guano, kelp premixed in with coco, and use tea to suppliment as needed.
3. Maxi bloom using KISS method. I know this one will probably work well but am concerned with overall quality and smokability. As well as heavy metal content
4. Finally, using canna (coco specific) nutes.

Im thinking ill start this experiment once my new room is complete and i'm done with prepping my out door crop. Prob, May if all goes well. I'll be sure to document the whole process and share it.

PS
I'm thinking three plants done each way. Ya think that is good enough to get accurate results?
