Can Some Help me with Fans and Carbon scrubber shopping !!!!?

Need something that can handle decent CFM for the summer because I am gonna go unsealed and just vent the room.

Sunleaves "windtunnel" fans have a plastic housing and run very quietly compared to canfans,hurricanes, or vortexs. As far as filters....Buy an original Can Fan. Everybody else makes claims....canfans work. DLB

My Wind tunnel fans run extremely quiet compared to metal fans Ive used in the past. I use a 4 in 6in & 8 in and I absolutely love them.

Take a look at the S&P TD100x 4inch fan, its about as quiet of a fan as you will find. Add in a Phresh, Phat, or Can filter and you will be golden. I went through 2 DIY scrubbers and was not pleased with either one. Maybe it was the quality of the carbon I was using? (Walmart aquarium carbon)

Don't use that method.

If you are going to make your own. Use loosefill carbon. Cleaning capacity is proportional to weight of carbon, FYI.

For a 250w, I would PM Anti. He has much more exp with these small reqs. You only need to circulate x times per hour, not minute IMO.
I would be using a sock filter and a tiny ass fan.

I've only ever had one shipping issue with them, and that was the Carbonaire filter I ordered on my last order, it came in the factory box. Everything else was always double boxed in a plain brown box. I'm thinking that maybe it was at fault of UPS (the filter WAS heavy) and the box got ripped?

If they have it, I order from them 100% of the time. They've been good to me so I stick with them for my business where possible.

Phat 4" filter - $60
Carbonaire 4" filter - $85
Active Air 4" inline fan -$70
Vortex 4" fan -$115

I have never seen anyone carry the Vortex for cheaper than he does. Basically $130 for a Fan/filter if you go with Phat. Only $10 more than HTG combo, and I imagine a better quality.

I ordered from HTG once,shipping took forever so I gave them neutral rep on EBAY and now they wont sell to me.Good riddance.
