I would be more impressed if you weren't doing joint rides immediately upon getting off of probation. Not sure why anyone would be congratulating you for getting lucky here, they oughta be calling you an idiot in the hopes that you might figure out how ridiculous that kind of behavior is and stop doing it before you make us all look bad.

The day I agree with any police implications to do with cannabis is the day I declare war is good and works LOL.. Just like the cops going after ppl that smoke cannabis while driving .. How long have ppl been smoking cannabis while drivin?? LOL.. I would suggest to anyone who thinks they can actually speak for me.. think again...I think I do a fine job of speaking for myself.. thanks for all the responses guys. I've had a few days to settle in and think since the event. I'm definitly going to be more careful from now on as far as baking out in the whip XD

Well where's the reminder or are you just reminding us it's still illegal? Look the simple way to avoid trouble with probation is to not risk trouble with probation. Some take this to the extreme by giving up smoking until they are in the clear. That's pretty much foolproof but it's also drastic and takes alot of will power. It's not foolish though because urinalysis can be difficult to beat if they piss you frequently and without warning. Sure certain things can help you beat them but they're usually expensive and require you to do a number of things in preparation. Not a good solution to "Oh and before you leave, I want you to fill this cup."
Beyond urinalysis though there are lots of things one can do to minimize risk and a real big one is to not smoke in your cars. Sure they're great because you can go place to place and yet still be protected from the elements and be comfortable but they're also fairly confining and they tend to hold odors for a long time. So if you can't smoke in your place or at your buddy's place then drive somewhere relatively secluded, get out of the car and smoke there.
Having great hiding places is all fine and dandy but isn't guarenteed to keep you safe. I'm not sure about where you're at but in some states they have a classification of police officer known as DRE's which is short for Drug Recognition Expert. They supposedly recieve special training that allows them to bend some of the rules non DRE's have to follow. For example, a DRE can potentially search your car without a warrant based on just recognizing the signs of drug use in the car such as a strong odor. They can also detain you and take you to the station and make you submit to certain tests which will prove you were using even though they didn't find anything.
So better then trying to find ways to "get lucky and pull a fast one on the cops" would be to just not engage the cops at all to begin with.

Getting pulled over is supposed to take a traffic violation or probable cause for some sort of infraction. Since I saw no bitching about the unfair traffic stop, I have to assume that the root of this story lies in whatever boneheaded move was made just prior to LEO going all blue and red.

You are lucky they didn't bring in a dope dog. I learned my lesson a long time ago. Me and a bro got blue lighted right after we lit up a fatty. My dumb ass friend was rolling 20 over the limit when the cop lit us up. I ate that sucker fire and all. They searched us and the car, and when they couldn't find anything, they called in the K9. That dog was all over that car, but no evidence, no charge. They detained us for over an hour, but eventually had to let us go.
I rarely toke and drive. If I toke & roll, I never carry more than I can eat. And I never carry a pipe. Can't eat that.
