yeah civ 5 will be a good one, that franchise never lets you down. They always do a good job on that one...but for me...I think that a non-stop action shooter with cheesy one liners and tits and ass is right up my ally. I just hope it is a good game after almost 12 yrs of development.

Yeah, this game was quite good for it's time. Hope it translates well to this platform.

My current favorite game (and present time "black hole") is Star Ruler, an absolutely killer 4X Space game. Graphics are so real you could swear they jump out of the screen, real Newtonian physics for star planet and ship movement and thousands of solar system to explore and conquer. Great multi-player game, too.

Only $25.00 and new patches and features about every 3 weeks or so...

Just thought I'd toss that out there!

thanks for posting this, I've been hoping for a fresh duke nukem game for years. I've still got the "kill a ton collection" on pc. Weren't they going to make a movie of it?

Am pretty sure it going to be on ps3, 360 & pc. So we should all have a choice on what to play it on. I think it is going to kick some serious ass...the 1st one was ahead of its time, where as this one it would seem is trying to catch up...hope it does not translate into final product.

sux tho, the game pretty much blows. borrowed it off a friend...glitchy as hell..gameplay is barely there...boring at times even...bummer. was expecting better.

Yeah, glad I didn't buy it, it's not bad, but I doubt I'll play it much, especially when Gears 3 comes out. Redbox just started renting games in my area, 2 bucks for a night. Cheap way to figure out if you like the game well enough to buy it...

yeah, i heard about the red box for games...THAT is a kick ass idea. Better then game fly. yeah man, I am sooo glad I did not buy that game. Then again, I was pretty nervous after 12 years, 3 developers and 2 different publishers later that it would be sub-par at best.
Bummer. Even the one liners got old. And lords, the graphics...BLA.

Played some online, CTF was "Capture the Babe", (kinda funny, she starts struggling as you're getting halfway to your area, gotta smack her ass to calm her down). It's not bad, so long as your internet is halfway decent. I liked the Freeze Ray, freeze someone, then shatter their ass!

Did you play it on PS3 or 360? 360 here...

yeah, heard about the online and it's humor hear and there. the game itself felt to me like they were relying heavily on his deep voice one liners to carry it all the way through. there are just way too many better fps's out there today...that is what it is lacking, progression from 12 yrs ago.

ps3. that is why no gears 3 for j.c., drake part 3 instead.

Yeah, you're right on the one-liners. It's cool for a rent, but glad I didn't buy it. (had it preordered too...)

I'm gonna get a PS3 someday, they seem to be picking up finally, after not releasing much in the way of games. Resistance is one of the games that makes me want a PS3... The Move looks interesting too. Never played much TombRaider, but the new one does look like it's gonna be cool...

Dude, get a 360, I'm tellin' ya, Gears of War is the SHIT! I played the hell out of Gears 1 and 2, but 3 is lookin' pretty sexy! The beta was a good little taste of it, can't wait til the full game comes out! Plus the Kinect is pretty fun, your lady will actually enjoy it with you, lots of cool stuff either already available or coming shortly for the 360. Plus no cheap-ass servers that can get hacked super-easy. I don't mind paying the 50 or whatever for a year, for a superior online experience. The 360 has been getting the Black Ops map packs weeks before the ps3 too, another nice perk. The reliability issues seem to have all been fixed, my MW2 Xbox (250 gb HDD, last generation of Xboxes) is running strong, and the new Kinect edition 360 is even better (trust me, I put my Xboxes thru true torture testing!).
