hey MHG,
I really haven't decided how I'm going to go about it... Most likely, DWC. My goal here is to find 2-3 really BANGING mothers.
So, I'll veg them all, clone them, sex them, flower the clones, and keep the best plants.
I would Sex them first.. then cut clones.
DWC is a great way to go...
Just make sure your not going to have temperature issues... controlling that water temp was a problem for me in the past.
I'm running soil now, but will be running some modified waterfarm buckets next go around.
Anyways, Looks like fun, I'll check back later.

I would love to sex first - but I worry that if I sex them and then put them back as mothers that this stress will always be apparent in the plant on all future clones... Not sure if this is true.
I've never had problems with water temperatures in DWC. You sure this was the problem as I've had radically different temperatures. My biggest issue is with high humidity and mold.

I can't decide if I want to sex 1st or clone an sex them! Really leaning to sexing 1st to clear out the males! Don't like the ideal of wasting the time training them to be disapointed when the nicer ones end up bein males!! But that's just me!!
ps by they way are the SB's Bx3s or 4s? I have 4 Bx 4s goin myself plus a few SB crosses

Sour Bubble is one hell of an indica. Kickaass hashplant. got 10 3bx beans back in 05, did an open pollination with them and the rest is history. Fat leaves short kushies and taller bubblegums. kushies are mochca smelling taller plants sweeter soft bubblegummie.

Official count: 24 seeds. 20 cracked. 4 did not (pink ties). I usually wait until the plant fully removes itself from the seed but opted to plant just cracked this time.

I like your cloner... looks simple.
I use a tub like that with water and bubbles... but literally float a piece of Styrofoam on the top of the water and poke my clones through the Styrofoam.
This way looks solid for both seeds and clones.
Decided if you are gonna sex first?? I usually can tell sex within 3-4 weeks of 18/6 depends on the strain.
What kind of pump is that? I typically use an aquarium pump on the outside, this looks much stronger though....

Thanks man. Yeah it's very simple. I like your styrofoam idea. Very similar.
It has been very solid for clones and seedlings. The only con is that the middle of the tub dips down so the middle plants get more water than the edges. If I'm not careful either the middle will get too wet or the outside gets too dry. Especially on a larger cloner with 50 or so sites. Maybe I'll try with a piece of styrofoam, next.
I'm still really up in the air... but you know.. I might put them at 12/12. It'll save a lot of time and work.
I think it's just a commercial 18-watt air pump (40 bucks or so). I should show you my heavy duty air pump... it's a 128 watts

I tried growing Some Sour Bubble, had to kill the operation though. Was all very sad.
But I'm way pumped to watch yours kick ass.

20 of 24 isn't a bad rate I guess because SB is a tough nut to crack.
I hope you get a good example of both main phenos correctly stated earlier here the short kushy fat indica being most potent and the bubblegum bush that tastes sweeter and often yields more.

Day 7:
19 of the 24 plants have poked above the surface of the rockwool. 1 of those 5 should break in 1-2 days. the other 4 didn't crack before I placed in rockwool. I'll give it another week.
