Do Fox Farm nutes expire?

I have a bottle of Grow Big that's about a year old and I'm wondering if it's good to go another 6 months or so? I don't see an expiration date on the bottle.

Shit, it's a little crusty around the top/cap.

Inside there's only like 1 little chunk of solid matter.

I really can't use it now?

I wouldnt advise it. I had a similar bottle mishap after about two years, still used it on a couple, didnt kill anything, but just didnt seem to provide the boost a good ferting should.

Hey michael68, Good question. I have been using the same foxfarm nutes for 8+ mo. now and I havent seen any changes in the nutes performance at all. I store them in a cool dark place and they seem to be fine.

Fistedsister is right also, it never hurts to treat the ladys, they will love you for it.

i have too used old nutes and no bishes were killed and they grew fine. Im sure it loses some of the bang, but hey money is tight why not.. peace n pufs..

I agree ^ ... i've used bottled/liq nutrients that were yrs' old & they seemed to work fine...if your unsure than test it on 1 plant before you go all out... also how are you peeps telling how old the bottle is ? ... i can never find any dates on anything & i know alot of the nutes i buy have been sittn' on my hdro guy's shelves for who knows how long

I suppose you start counting once you open the bottle...i just wish they had damn born on dates on them...would put my mind at ease...

I usually mean since I buy it. I had one set of the foxfarm trio for about two years before it was acting funky, i didnt initially open it for about 6 months though. sure it sat around forever too before that.

I always wished they had born on dates too! haha. I mean if they can do it for shitty beer, why not my babies food?
