aloha my friends!
I hope the weather there is pleasant... took a ride over to the westside and hung out at napili for a few hours yesterday. going to the beach in the middle of february is highly underrated.

on the way back we saw 4 or 5 whales making their trek.
i dont know how to zoom in to blow it up but heres a pic we took from the rig driving the pali hwy...

*the whale is just left of center above the bush*
right after we saw the whales my wife and i agreed when we can we're gonna get a nice new camera w a telescoping lense. any ideas?

Aloha Greyskull! Happy Sunday Everyone.
I promised to post some pics of my Alien Dog crosses. I finally got them to the point that I think theyre healthy enough to flower.
Much Thanks to Shan Diego for suggesting I watch my temps, 420247 for bring to my attention the possibility of CalMag going bad, & to OHGEE for suggesting I look into Dutch Masters Liquid Light Foliar feed. Here's the girls @ day 3 of 12/12. I took them outside for the picyure taking but they are my indoor project.

Blue Maid (Blue Moonshine x Alien Dog-Ether)

LUI-13 (Legends Ultimate Indica x G13 by Dutchgrown)

I'm going to continue using the Liquid Light for awhile & keep giving the CalMag. Hopefully they'll green up a little more.

RAD!! That Purple Jade really has the bushyness from the Purple Joy, shit is a straight tumbleweed.

Have you thought about maybe transplanting? I would think that would help them green up real quick, and if you are just starting to flower now, you will for sure get an increase in yield if you transplant now...

Cant wait to see how those all turn out

look at the foliage on those.. Beautiful plants GT, of course.. but the pot up would be clutch, one for a little growth spurt and two, from my very lazy perspective a lot less frequent watering.

@ShanD: Thanks man Not to sure about the smell, I'll let you know next time I go scope her. I threw her out 'just cuz' when she was an infant not knowing what to expect...definitely want to re-veg the ho for this upcoming outdoor season...Or would you guys recommend trying to take cuts and veg the cuts?

@titoon29: thanks! and great call if you can handle the rent! SD is an awesome place to be - not too overcrowded (yet, IMO) and it's got something for everyone. Outdoor activities, metropolitan things, etc etc.

-If you go to the ocean to swim/lounge, PB has relatively easy access, a lot of beach to setup 'camp' and a LOT of hot womens (assuming you are a male between the ages of 15-35 lol) OB is also good but parking is worse and getting to it is just as bad as PB. Both can be ~10 minutes from the freeway depending on what time you go. OB has a great street fair/farmers market Wednesday. Good surf @ OB pier & just north of the pier...Many spots in La Jolla/Del Mar too. PB is terrible for surf IMO.

-Hiking. Torrey Pines trails. Tecelote canyon can be fun. Sight-seeing atop the Glider Port near UCSD campus in LJ can be awesome too. There's a secret 'locs only' spot that is accessed from the black's beach(nude beach with great surf)/glider port parking lot that I can't divulge but if you find it it will definitely be a highlight of the trip. It's called 'the bunker' and it's off the trail going down the cliffs.)

-Balboa Park and definitely the Reuben H. Fleet Center. This is the real deal 'Dome' IMAX that only shows nature/science stuff IIRC. Definitely no box office hits shown there but for the price, the experience can't be beat. You also get to play in the hands-on science museum while you wait for the show (show up ~30-60 minutes early so you have time!)

-As for chillout, a lot of the parks are nice. I frequent Kate Sessions atop Mt. Soledad on the PB/LJ boarder. The beaches are almost all great, just avoid IB and Mission Beach. Sunset cliffs (just south of OB) is a great place to go @ sunset and spark up.

-The Birch Aquarium in La Jolla is AWESOME and very affordable at ~$10. Low key and only takes an hour to do the walk-through. Check their site online to try and go during a feeding or something. I honestly don't think Sea World is worth it unless you have a lot of money/time and have never been there before. It's a cool place but given the price and crowds, not that high on the list.

-Lastly, unless I remember anything great lol, the San Diego Zoo is a MUST, again IMO. It's right next to Balboa Park and is open during the night too. This Zoo is world famous IIRC and deservedly so. Totally worth the price too.

I had some odd reports about the Alien Dog Ether this year, and I saw some lackluster flowers from her, so I started to have my doubts about her. I made a few changes: Resumed a dark cycle in my mothering cabinet, Sprayed them with Reverse, and followed KRD's feeding schedule. End result? Faith restored. This table is glorious head to toe, front to back. Sorry about the hps phone photos...
