Can I clone and transplant at the same time....

can you explain how you'd do that?

plants need roots to be transplanted, clone cuttings take 1-3 weeks to sprout roots.

I have 3 plants in veg approaching the end of week 5, I wanted to clone them and tranplant them to a larger container, then within a few days tranfer them to the flower room.

you mean a few days after they show roots and you are able to stick them into dirt?

again it takes weeks to show roots, but...
if you mean transplant after roots show and then straight into flower then you can do that. the clones will be the age of the mother at the time you took cuttings, so they are ready to flower asap after roots show...whew.

personally i'd give them a week to recover from transplant before beginning flowering.

I transplant and flip on the same nite, and take clones off the plants in flower a few dats later. Doing it all at once might be a bit too much, each thing is kinda stressful to the plant, even when done perfectly.

You can do that no problem. Take your clones and transplant the donor, no worries. Might stunt for a few days but all will be ok.

I may just transplant them today and clone them in a few days to play it safe. Even though like dapurps says it should be fine

you can, but MUCH better results will be had if you wait a tad.
when you top a plant and put it into flowering right after wards, the plant will grow a baseball bud on top and not branch out into the 3-5 tops you want. you will lose yield. if you top and wait 4-6 days before you throw into flower, the new tops will have a chance to grow a bit and become the 3-5 tops you want and not the baseball.
you can also transplant and go right into flowering, but again, your yield will suffer. wait 4-6 days....
in my warehouse, we top and transplant at the same time, wait a week, then flower.
i did a side by side with gdp. transplanted then put into flowering, and transplanted, then waited a week, then flowered. huge difference, as you can see, yield was double if not triple by just waiting a week!

Topping = cutting clone off the top, usually the central branch, thus allowing the lateral branches below the top to grow to the canopy.

I usually take clones when mothers just get too big, so I always have a fresh copy going, cause sometimes shit just dies, or gets fucked.

I have generally just taken cuts off the bottom of the plant in flower (no later than day 7), because I will be cutting off those branches anyway. You want a few days after the transplant so the plant is recovered and green ooze is corsing through it's veins. I don't normally top, I like to weave and bend that center cola. But seeing is believing, and if Krunch is doing it, I might have to give it a try.
