is there some kind of secret to loading pictures from a mac? please remember i was one of those kids who played outside because pong was too stupid. could use some HELP here but/because i am computer retarded.

thanks mustard. been beating my head against this thing for two hours, i can build and fix almost anything but with the computer i just assume i fucked up
 
Im in the same boat as you...tried several times to upload pics & it always say's there the wrong size or something like that.... any idea on what file size they need to be to upload to IC ? Also what type of file is needed ? Sorry for asking questions in your thread...hope ya don't mind :wave:

Jpg/jpeg mainly i think, i have uploaded some quite large files when i started a few months ago, lately i have been resizing in order to conserve bandwidth.

You either need to host the picture on a picture hosting site like imageshack or tinypic, etc or edit the images so they are smaller.

Oh, the humanity! Imageshack et al will turn on you in a heartbeat. Avoid them at all costs. :hide:

Uploading was down for a while but, it's back now. I'm on a Mac and just uploaded today.

I'll have to try again I thought it was my MAC not wanting to play well with others!:laughing:

Mac OS X has a utility called "Preview" that can adjust the size of images, crop them, or convert from one image type to another.
Preview --> Tools --> Adjust Size | Rotate L/R --> Save As [TIFF | JPEG | etc]. Works well for being included with the OS. Also, you can "Print" to disk as a PDF.
