How do you get SOO MUCH bubblehash???

Been using TONS of trim. So much that I have to do 2 loads in a 5 gallon bubble hash bag.

For some reason I see you guys with like tennis ball size stuff. I get maybe a half a ping pong ball from each load.

Jesus. maybe I'm not doing it right or getting all the stuff from the trim... hmmm

Basically I cut 4k lights worth of plant material. Either let it dry or still wet. Then stuff the 5 gallon bag to the top. mix with ice and water for 40 minutes. Then let it sit and drain.

In what exact order do you put the bags into each other? Which is outside , which inside?

Trim from 4k lights should harvest more resin than half ping pong size....

Maybe you put in too much trim at once....

I think maybe you ran too much at once...try running with less, about half full of trim, maybe a half pound or so. I used to do bubble bags and I would mix for a while then let it settle for 5-10 minutes, mix, settle, mix settle.

Also here's a cool tip if you haven't figured it out. Only do this is you have high quality bags and it will wear them out faster.Don't wait for the water to drain, pull the sides of the bag down and it creates a vacuum sucking the water out really fast. I used to use a standard 5 gallon bucket and the bags fit nice and snug and made a good seal. It takes me like 15 seconds to get the water out of a 73 using that method....It actually works pretty amazing the vacuum somehow sucks the water but not the air through the screen and in some cases the drained hash will be sitting in the bag below the water level...pretty trippy stuff it is. again ONLY do this is you have highquality bags as it puts alot of stress on the seams and could easily split a weak seam open so be careful! I do it like that all the time and never tore a "bubblebags" brand bag, but I make no guarantees you won't.

Grow more bud/frostier bud if you want multiple ounces of hash
Immediately freeze trim after you take it off the plant
Get the water as cold as you possibly can
Use the cleanest bags you possibly can

Lets be real with the guy it takes alot of trim to get big chunks of hash

you can tell stealth d. has experance , if you put to much in your bags it just dont work as good as it should.

can you explain this vacume deal a little more?

some strains produce a lot more than others, I have a goo strain that is really icy, even big fans have frost on em, get a lot more hash from it. fresh frozen trim, ice cold water(use snow if possible). Just started making QWISO and won't be going back to the bags. It's hit or miss with the texture of the bubblehash, once in a few batches ill hit it right and get full melt that has the right consistency, crumbles when squeezed but presses together...other times ill get shit that lights on fire and turns black with no bubble.

hehe I'll try. as you lift the bags out; the first bag or 2 drain ez and quick. when you get to the 160 bag or so...seperate the edge of that bag (that's folded over the edge of the bucket) grab the edges of that bag and pull straight down against the bucket..if you do it right, the top most bag will pull up and the water gets sucked out. you have to kinda "peel" the bag off of the rim of the bucket cuz it's so tight. then on to the next bag (73?) again separate the folded over edge and start working it down till you're an inch or 2 past the bag underneath..again pull straight down and drain.

I'm not sure how to explain it better then that with my limited verbal skills ;) I can take a mock picture later to demonstrate if anyone's still confused..I figured it would be pretty hard to explain, but I hear people complaining about waiting for the bags to drain all the time....so I'll be happy to help save people a little time. :)

If you want to drain the bags fast, the tug and jerk technique works very well. I imagine your not getting so much because your bags are too full, probally too much fan leaves and non crystally plant material taking up precious space in your bags.

I get 5-10% return, so processing 3000grams = 150-300 grams of hash.
This is done in 200 gram sections, run twice.
So that = 30 runs!

It takes a looooong time to process.

& forget all the stupid instructions that tell you to place all the bags in a bucket & then mix . The number of posts i have read with the bags splitting/tearing coz the mixers got caught .
Use a completely seperate bucket with iced water/trim & mix , let it settle 10mins or so then stir & pour into the bucket containing bags , while that is settleing/draining do another mix ready for the pour . Simple & a lot faster .

What size is your collection bag ? (1st bag in bucket ) coz some years ago i felt i was losing a lot of triches . i had got a set of cheaper bags (BubbleHash Bags)with no micron size to them & sent off e-mails asking seller for the sizes & they did`nt know . No way to contact maker !so i purchased a Catching Sac .25 , i now have a lot more to enjoy & realise just how much bubble i had been losing .

ya i dunno what you are doing wrong

i use the 30 gal bags and just use the garbage bag,the first bag and the last bag

I only use fresh frozen trim. I get about 10-15% back. I use a drill with triangle mixer. I beat the material making sure to keep the water ice cold. I agitate for 20 minutes at a time. I then drain using a 3 inch plastic ball valve allowing all the water to drain into another 50 gal drum. I let the mix sit for 15 minutes, allowing 8 inches of water to sit at the bottom on this barrel. Most of the tricombs will settle at the bottom of this barrel. I continue this cycle about 8 times. Then I strain all the water from the collection barrel. I only have to shake once. WHen I look under a microscope all I see is heads and stalks no plant. Key is to use fresh frozen and keep it cold.

Have fun!!

Without commenting on your yield, I would need to look at the material under a microscope to see what you are leaving behind. Sometimes there is not much, because the different strains produce different quantities of resin.

10/15% by weight is probably a good number for trichome extraction, before you start to add a disproportionate amount of plant material to the extraction.

I never kif more than ~10%, before extracting the remaining resin by other means, so as to preserve the resin quality!

Sweet... that's what i'm going to try.

FRESH FROZEN trim... in small batches.

always used dry stuff before. and in large batches...

I have the best results with DRY material, in small batches no more than 224 grams. I use an iceolater for 15 min each wash.Wash material 3-4 times then discard.

Gentle agitation works best! Hand mixing will give you the best results. Mixers add to much plant contamination. I used fresh frozen once and got a lot of chlorophyll contamination.
