Hey there Headstone...

I'm looking forward to doing a comparison of the Nimbin v's OH x SK#1...

I've been reading a few dodgy reports about the Big Bang but i've got a few years under my belt and i'll bring home the good bud...we shall she..

Not too many grow reports regarding the Blue Mystic but i'm sure they'll be allright...

Take care all..

Hi mate I'm also growing out some Nimbin bagseed that look pretty similar to what you've got there, i.e. half the phenos have purple stems with a light coloured leaf, and in general a spindly plant. However no ducksfoot leaning leaf traits on my babies. This strain starts very fast and then spreads out wide.

This came from a superb smoke I bought from a lady in front of the Hempbar. I suspect that it has Thai roots possibly Old Mother sativa, and probably crossed somewhere along the line to an indica. This is what Kog the former keeper of OMS did about ten years ago to bring down flowering time.

This gear had a complex fruity citrus and floral fragrance and an up happy high witha nice measure of strength. Reminded me of some 50% Haze hybrids ala Jack Herer, Mango Haze etc. Interesting to see the comparison with OH x SK1. I'm growing Mullum Madness x Skunk Haze, which is Skunk x Haze x Thai:

Hope all grows well for you and look forward to seeing the results.

Yours are looking pretty good Bushweed..
I can see from mine that they'll be a lanky lot..although i'll tip the hell out of them to keep the height down..I love Thai weed but have never tasted Aus grown thai that tasted the same...maybe i just don't know the right folks these days..?hehe

Does my first pic look like it has ducksfoot traits..?

I'm hoping there's some indica in few of them so i can take cuts and keep em for future pollination..ect.

It'll be good to compare our results...i'll have one in a pot, a few in the vege patch..and few out in the bush.

Thanks for showing us your wares ..

peace

A few more..

I've had a few snapped stems before and i'm always f#@*en amazed with the plants recovery...The smaller plant by itself was grown amongst eggplants, capsicums, tarragon and lemongrass and has so far shown the least amount of pest abuse, almost zero. The only reason i tied them down was the neighbors. I know they really don't care that much, we've known each other for nearly 20 years, but when i came home from the airport, put my bags down, went outside to take a look at the ladies i was faced with my neighbor washing dishes with the plants right in front of her..She smiled and said hello through the window..like i said, i know she doesn't really care but it was more of courtesy to tie them down..maybe i didn't need to do it but i think she's happier now..maybe her kids were asking her what 'that' plant is..they've just started high school..

Anyway..How's everyone else's plants doing..??

peace.

Hey seedmouse.

Seems no one else noticed the 'Ducksfoot' amongst your first post's pictures. At least it looked like it was gunna be a duck....

Could you post a recent pic of it? Its hard to tell when they're younger.... Unless its relatively pure, it might just be the first few leaves that stay webbed.... They're damned cool plants in anycase....

I had one in just recently, but I had to pull it out.....

Hey there Rex..the plant in question just grew out to look like every other plant i've gorwn..just in the beginning it looked a little ducky..not now though..

I think the larger plants are struggling to flower due to my neighbors kitchen light which stays on till about 10pm every night...The other plant on it's own down on the back fence is budding profusely as it's located well away from any light sources...live and learn i reckon.

More pics next week..seedy

pfft, why bother going to nimbin unless you want to be ripped off, was there not long ago, is now just full of crackheads dealing dodgy moldy shitty buds, the old hippies/heads are long gone now ..

Hey grwm3...Sorry to hear you got ripped off..My experience is, if your not in a rush..ie, spend a few days there, you'd have to be a real mug if you get scammed..I looked at about 1/2 dozen different ozzies over 2 days and then made up my mind..Yes things have changed but the land itself surrounding Nimbin is as beautiful as ever.
