strawberry cough got the flush, she went the distance, but i actually like taking shit that extra week... i like that heavy stone.
i checked on the bare bulb several times, shes keeping good temps, i have a fan below her blowing the hot air up ward, and a can50 recirculating. been running a boost bucket too. (just threw her on the timer w the 1k).
im liking this lumitek,, her heat sink fins are massive, so she runs cool.
i transplanted stretch armstrong (pheno D, of CH9 jack33x ed rosinthol super bud) ill get her pictures up real soon.
i also flipped some 8 or 9 week CH9s to prepare for 4:20. they should finish up right in time.

i did some, but still have abunch of transplanting to do.
im prepping to run my flip box(on veg) with my 1k quantum w MH bulbs. it should be up today after i do my repotting.
im interested to see how well these flip boxes work. im using it in my veg so i can save some power and focus more on the flowers.

i have the flip box running. im liking it so far. the trigger cord works by your own timmer. so when the trigger cord has power lamp B is on, and when it doesnt have power lamp A is on. i set my hoods to change every 2 hours, and its a 18/6 cycle. the 2 hoods are spaced acouple inches apart. i was careful to make sure the furthest plant from the lit hood gets enough light. i should have a better report on them in a week or so.

my strawbery cough is about half dry, i took a little bud to test out his morning. and shes smoking real good!!

Hope i get the hang of the coco and am able to produce the weighty buds your pic's indicate....How much veg time do you give them after they root.[sorry if thats been previously covered]...Ive been doing the perpetual thing also but with limited room and the numbers game im limited to aprox 28 days of veg growth under a t5..

thanks for stoppn by. the set up has changed abit over time. right now im kind of in the middle of things, and changing to a bare bulb grow. i almost have the first room ready. i need to build doors and work on getting plants on the FLOP. im focusing alot on veg. the last few things that i flipped werent as big as id like, but they were all about a foot high. the new batch is at day 22 of veg, im topping soon, and giving them another few weeks. im working on getting my plants bigger. and keep numbers down.

Looks like some killer HERB.!! Question? Wtih that flip box, you can run 2 lights off of one ballast just alternating them?

thanks and yes, but they are daisy chainable. so you can really run 4 hoods off one ballast(in a 12/12cycle). 2 on the flip(non simultaneously) and 2 on the flop(again non simultaneously) with the ballast running 24 hours.
its just a single pole double throw relay... the trigger cord works by its own timer(not provided). when the cord has power lamp B is ON, and when it doesnt have power lamp A is on... i have it set to change every 2 hours.
im running it in my veg to increase my footprint with out drawing that other 1k's worth of power.
flip boxes are best suited for a grow with more then one row of lights, that way each side has a light on at all times, wether it be right over the plants or right next to the plants.

Man FB- you do nice work,great pix of a variety of plants...You wouldnt take a minute and tell us more about how your doing stuff?? What ec/ppm your feeding on a dayly basis?what your ph/ec your run off is...Maybe even the starting point of your water[hard well,city,r/o ??]....
Your doing something right thought a bit more info might give me a clue how to get better results as im just switching over from promix to coco and can use all the help i can absorb...Thanks...E/C out

well, i use botanicare 5Kg brick coco. let that hydrate over night, and use chunky perlite. i water twice a week, feed every other watering, i have well water, thats pretty consistent(alittle high on the PH, but good on EC). for nutes i use the GH flora series, just the micro and bloom. boosters is all advanced nutrients, big bud, bud candy (carboload on the elites) and overdrive. went with some botanicare supliments, aqua shield, liquid karma, cal mag just went from silica blast to dyna grow protekt(same shit). and hygrozyme.
P.H is usually 5.8. E.C is raised accordingly, from 1.2 - 2.2(heavy feeders). when i feed, its base and boost. when i water, its supplements.
im loving the new lighting arrangement, i have to wear sun glasses when i water now. the light is intense, and i only have half the lights hanging for that room so far. ill be moving things around and adding another light soon.

We als got the botanicare 5k brick,hydrated with small ammout of cal/mag and some great white..Let it set for the nite..During transplant we hit the small plants with 1/2 strength ferts..tHE whole water/ferting thing is differant then promix[seems much easier] if i can get the cloning part down ill be golden...Protect yor eyes,IVE got the equivilent of flash burn from to many years under the lites....Been whereing the transition glasses for a few years now but the damage is already been done.retina's are cooked....Good thing i can clone blind.
