driving and smoking is really dumb. we wouldn't ever box like that in a car while driving thats just suicide. First thing is, you don't have to box a car, you shouldn't box a car you plan on driving any time soon.
true a good o goes for bout 300$. this oz was not a 300$ oz..this was like lower branch buds from local outdoor that still would get your eyes itchy and red. The pyrex bowl was a way stoner move but if you saw the setup it wasn't half bad. We never black out torched the buds, it vaped them, then you take a break and stays lit and burns itself quite well like in scents.

I've seen fatter sessions of weed that were way more stupid and ridiculously fun..why is this so hard to believe?

an OZ in cali is not worth 300...you can get ODs of pretty good outdoor for 160-180 on the street out here...

this story doesnt sound "unbelievable"...this is a growing website! i have a half P of my last harvest in my cabinet just to smoke on and another half dozen jars on my coffee table full of nugs. ive been to other ICers spots and seen a QP in jars on the table with another 10 LBs sitting in a garbage can in the corner lol.

Those norcal buds are always on point quality wise. Love their outdoor love their indoor can't go wrong its all extremely good. You can't find a better variety anywhere else in USA imo. That little menu ya got going on and posted up sounds so good man. The real strong sours still kick hard up there. Even the bags that are kicked down to the clubs are great, I can only envy and dream of the growers stash'.

I'm in socal now but I've lived all though out the west coast (california,oregon,washington) and the best bud epicenter is right up in those norcal mountains for real. The sheer variety and amount of quality being produced is amazing..absolutely amazing. Socal just doesn't seem to get as many of those really complex berry, fruit and floral strains. The quality is good down here no complaints but if you are gona split hairs and compare herb like wine yeah i'd be up there if I could be right now.

..not that it means a damn but OG was where I first sparked a deeper interest in cannabis this forum was a natural fit after its down fall. IC takes a bunch of different people, Sure its a home to some very smart growers who have been in the game and contribute great info but lets not sit up on a high horse for other people now.

We used to call it a fishbowl. And we did it all day and night when I was younger.
We had a spot we called fishbowl road and would smoke and drink 40's there for hours. Good times.
One time a bunch of friends and I crammed into a 87 Chevy Celebrity and parked at a spot in the woods. With a few ounces in the car and a joint rolled and fresh bowl packed a cop pulls up behind us right before we light up. As always he asks me only to step out of the car and do I have any dangerous weapons or drugs,etc. He searched me only and looked in the trunk and let us go. Damn I used to get into some crazy shit as a kid.
When I was 14 or 15 we would get $80 ounces of brick shwag and burn the hole thing in a weekend every week.

Well I never hotboxed but I have done my share of crazy smoking. Like in 1976 on the 4th of July me and 2 good friends decided that in honor of the Bicentenial we would do 200 bong hits each. We gathered all the weed we had which was a mixture of Jamaican, Columbian and average bagweed. We cleaned it all out, got our favorite bongs and started hitting. None of us made it even close to 200 bong hits. Both my friends crapped out after about 20-30 bong hits, I made it a little further and actually got to 40 something bong hits.

The next day my chest hurt when I breathed and I regretted that most of my weed was gone. Also during the event we got stoned as hell but each of us ended up feeling like we smoked ourselves straight and to top it off all the smoking and coughing gave me a killer headache. Looking back on it now I think fondly of our youthful enthusiasm in attempting to do stuff like that but I definately learned from that mistake and wouldn't try it again.

I think the big problem you are running into here is that so many people are growers. Not only are they growers but they are growers who take extreme pride and care in their weed. When you spend months carefully controlling things to produce the frostiest, tastiest resin coated bud you can produce, the idea of wasting that bud by taking a blow torch to it is just unthinkable. Now granted this wasn't bud you cared about but when people read your story and imagine themselves doing it they imagine the weed being like the weed they grow. It's been so long since I had and schwag type weed I can't even remember what it tastes like. Then again I'm in my 50's and been smoking my own for longer them some members of this site have been alive.

Not to be a one-upper, but you guys ever hear of a Rainbow vacuum? It's a giant motorized water bong, basically.

So you take the hose attachment, fashion a tinfoil "bowl" to go over the end of the suction hose, and poke some holes in it. Fill it with weed (about an oz) turn on the vacuum, and then light it with a torch. Clean smoke comes POURING out the backside of the machine. I just light it and hotbox my 3 car garage in seconds. next time I do it I will take pics.

Oh and reading your stories reminded me of 4/20 last year. At my friends house, there were about 50 heavy smokers inside the house, and everyone puffin away on something. We figured out that if someone opened the front door a little (like a carb) the back door would have THICK smoke pour out of it when cracked.

So, you guessed it, HOUSE HITS! Nothin like smokin 30 kinds of weed all at once. hahaha

not sure if most of you know this...

the lungs absorb the maximum amount of THC within 5-7 seconds upon inhalation. beyond that the smoke is just causing unnecessary damage to the upper respiratory system, so no point in holding it any longer.

in 'hot boxes' and 'fishbowls', there's a 'combination effect' that takes place which makes people think they are 'more high' than they usually would be.

a.) when you exhale cannabis smoke, that smoke doesn't contain much active THC. re-breathing that smoke would, at best, only allow you to breathe in small amounts of remaining active THC (plus carbon dioxide and other nasty byproducts)

b.) while sitting in a 'hotbox', depending on the level of airflow, number of occupants and amount of smoke, the 'combination effect' starts because your brain isn't getting as much oxygen as it normally would. the effects of this can be light-headedness, dizziness, confusion, blurred vision, etc.

clearly the effects of the high + loss of oxygen to the brain creates a 'fucked up' effect thinking you are 'more high' than you would normally be. i'm sure that you do get HIGHER than you normally would after inhaling all that extra smoke but not only is it unhealthy, it's dangerous to deplete your brain of oxygen and re-breathe all those byproducts.

I feel you but on some real, if you could do whatever you want with any amount of weed...you'd be cooking with it, burning it like inscents, rubbing BHO on like topical hand cream and so on... I got nothing left to say other than it sucks ass that weed is prohibited cause no one gets to use it the way it should be.

In dreams I'm a native in another country, another fn planet even. Weed is plentiful, grown wild and cultivated for multi purpose reasons. At night we celebrate our time here on this earth and some days we even burn multiple full plants in a hot box session campfired in a closed tipi or shack as a way to thank whatever it is that keeps this all going. From the outside looking in, looks like a waste of weed, but from the inside of the circle, its no waste at all.

I've seen something similar to that device. You can rig it to put multiple ozers of herb in it. So much fun. That's makes more sense to have about 10+ heads in the area when using that much weed. So much fun, i'm glad you contributed that or else everyone else would think I was making this shit up. lol house hits...love it....

THC alone produces a way different effect compared to the effects produced from burning plant material, terpenes ect.


The weed wasn't that bad, we weren't burning seeds and stems so the box didn't produce a headache like some schwag ive had...just make sure to stay hydrated after a box. drink water
