hi all - I've been an active weedtracker member - same userid - since 2005 and have read many posts here on the icmag forums. I've been growing outdoors summers only, of course, in big plastic garbage cans for almost 12 yrs now. This past year I decided I need to refocus and learn to grow like a horticulturist.

I grow all-organic, have my own worm farm, compost pile, and I harvest rainwater. In the winter I often cycle my crops and grow winter veggies in the same containers I use for mmj in the summer.

Last summer I successfully took cuttings from a tomato plant and propagated it.

A few months ago I began growing indoors again doing 18/6 under 2 2X4 T5's (limited space - a tiled single shower). I bring the grrls outside if it's a nice warm day...and we have plenty of those here in SoCAli.

My mothers are very happy and healthy. I can produce about 300 clones every 2 weeks. The roots are an awesome sight. I'l post some pix soon.

when we moved into our home about 13 yrs ago the first thing I did was remove all the grass in my front lawn.

well, the Mexicans we hired right outside the Home Depot parking lot actually did all the work.

The second thing I should've done was put down that fabric that stop weeds & grass from growing

But at the time I barely knew such a thing existed

so now we have to weed out that awful stubborn grass every spring, I hate the stuff!

Why in the world would anyone waste time and - more importantly, water - on a grass lawn is beyond all reason to me

Especially if you live in a desert like we do in SoCali

so now I've got something like 35 more posts to go before I can add my own avatar

well, that was a waste of time, none of my many posts here were counted and I still have 43 to go. bummer.
