What's up ic? I'm running a couple ebb n flow tables that are about ready to flip and I wanted to find out what additives you guys using with maxibloom lucas style at 7g/gal. I've been adding calmag as needed, how much do you guys end up adding usually? and what about boosters? I'd like to keep it to a minimum, the maxibloom, calmag, a pk booster and maybe like a carb booster or something? I've run lucas with the liquid 8m/16g/gal + liquid kool bloom every time before this but I want to see what I can add/change to improve.
So, dry koolbloom? I know it's different from the liquid but I'd like to use dry since it's cheaper. What about something like floranector from GH? Is that something I'd want to add to a "sterile" gunk free res?
What would your line up be with maxibloom as your base?

I currently run Lucas FNB 8ml/gal..Add calmag as needed..Thats all you need if your running 1000w..If under 1000w add liquid koolbloom week1-4and add drykoolbloom week 5-8..Flush week9..Trick is to stay around 1350 ppm(.7conversion)..Lucas formula works very well by itself..

Water's the only additive I use mixed with 7g of Maxibloom after spending too much on hyped up additives that truthfully I bought cause I liked the bottle or Name

I'm currently chasing my tail trying to get my girls happy using Maxibloom. Low PPM tap seemed to be my biggest obstacle as it turns out as adding a generous amount of Cal-Mag and feeding full strength Maxibloom pretty much at all times has improved the health of my garden significantly.

FWIW, I used to be a long time Calmag/Pureblend Bloom user dosing at 5ml per gal Calmag and 15ml per gal Pureblend. With Maxibloom I've had my best results using significantly more Cal-mag than I had used before. I'm still dialing it in so I'm not out of the woods yet, but I'm seeing results.

FWIW, since my plants all seemed to have hardcore Mg def using Maxi alone, but little to no Ca def, I may fiddle with adding epsom salts to increase Mg levels instead of adding a crapload of Calmag every time. Don't want excessive Ca or N from the Calmag becoming an issue if I can help it, and I figure Epsom salts are considerably cheaper than any Hydro additive. YMMV.

I add a little Floralicious in veg and Bushmaster as needed in flower. It's a great product just by itself.

nothing other than ph up to 5.4, in 5 gallon hydro. running about 1100 ppm. I add about a quart of ph'd water every 2 days, change it out every 7 days. this is my first run with MB. Visually the plants look better than ever but I'll need to wait a while on taste and buzz level.

i tend to measure on the EC end of things, and not the tablespoon/teaspoon end

the start of flower, i'll do about .15 EC of calmag, then add maxi until EC is 1.3 to 1.4

towards the end of flower, i usually skip the calmag, add maxi until EC is 1.1/1.2 give or take-ish, and add .2 to .3 worth of koolbloom.

that's assuming new water, my addback regime is about as arbitrary as Candyland's rules when playing a 6 year old - but it's much the same 'look at the meter, fiddle the nutes, look at the meter again' situation.
