Apple Cider Vinager (with mother) to bring it down and baking soda to go the opposite way. You can use plain vinager or real lemon aswell. Also test after fertilizers are applied aswell ,,peace out Headband707

i dont think using baking soda, sodium bicarbonate, is a great idea. your adding X amount of sodium into your mix, which doesnt evaporate out or anything people. if your using tap water, your Na concentrations would probably be through the roof.

silicon solutions are a great idea.

I usually add back un-ph'd water to raise, then amend nute levels back into desired range. I find the PH is just about ok after that.

Yep baking soda works ok,but it is weak and the sodium can be a problem if you are using a lot of sodium bicarb or don't change your rez frequently. Potassium hydroxide is is better; search on ebay it is used in making biodeisel and there are lots of listings for cheap...it is also the component of most commercial ph up. The added benefit is plants love the potassium as it is bioavaliable.

Just make as much solution as you need by adding @100g to 1l of water. Store the solid and make it as you need it. a 2lb jar will last for years.

Potassium Hydroxide
Ph up from my LGS I bought a one litre container for 12 bucks.
2.5 gallons today at 4.0 ph after nutes I added two drops.
and I was at 5.9
This 1 litre container should last me years
Its super concentrated aand much better than ANY sodium you add to your medium/solution. Sodium is poisonous to plants.
Steer clear if you can. If you run a water softener, switch from sodium pellets to Potassium Chloride to get ride of the sodium
