Well, I can safely say I have moved past the first test-smoking phase of "Hmm, is this stuff potent/any good?" to "WOW this is easily one of the best highs I have ever had, so clear and euphoric and useful and I don't even get congestion or red eyes!"

I am TOTALLY sold on harvesting the first of these plants as soon as I see the growth pause again! This kind of high is exactly what I need to temper my depression/ADHD and I can't believe how much I lucked out with my friend's bagseed that was barely worth it on the first generation of growing out. The best part is:
I AM DONE TRADING MONEY FOR HERBS! DONE! I gave my (dry) friend the last remaining bit of commercially-grown stuff I had, which was definitely fire, but not the kind of high I was really looking for. He has a clone of this plant so even though I plan to move on to Vanilluna next grow she will live on.

Looks like you are doing quite well. very similar to how I started. :D

keep it up!

There is nothing better then not buying your herb!

Day 53 and potency is beyond good -- enough that I'm going to bed at smoking plateau two, which I normally have a hard time reaching, and waking up at plateau one, which normally would not happen either. But still no amber! Pistils are mostly gone, though.

Thanks for stopping by! Here is this lady's last view of the sun... she's now in a dark closet with a fan and will begin to breathe her last tomorrow morning, day 58. Alas, poor gal, we hardly knew ye.

Since her lineage is clearly unknowable, I had no idea what to call this bag seed's progeny (for the fun of it, not to put on "the market" mind you) but now the terpene profile is becoming clear. Lemon and pine are the major constituents, kind of a Lemon Pine-Sol...

Henceforth she may be known as BIG BLACK LADY! :dance013:

Looks like I've got a few big onions from the first, smaller plant that I've been nicking stuff from and also withholding water from for a couple weeks! I think letting it go a long time without water at the end was quite helpful in making it not horribly wet when getting hung up to dry.

The other plant is definitely bigger for letting it grow more and generally having been closer to the intense portion of the HID upon its reflector (they are both cuttings, after all, vegetated under otherwise same conditions.) I am going to wait for some amber before harvesting that one :blowbubbles:

Xcellent!!!

Xcellent!!!

Xcellent job. Enjoyed your presentation. You learn as you go along, especially w/aid from THE ICMAG community.
I've learned research can solve almost any problem. The answers are infinite here and on the web. Just takes patience.
Enjoy your harvest. Great job.
Success w/ya grow!!!
Stay safe!!!

Watch em grow!!! :canabis:

"The one that shall go longer" is still going strong at day 70 with no amber trichomes... LOTS of purple, though! Here's a stereogram (cross your eyes and you can view it in 3D):

Even though I haven't been feeding, I'm seeing new calyxes growing out some more! Not a lot but maybe this is the start of another growth cycle? I can't tell if she's done but the weight has been packing on... Kept watering, and that's all.

I'm thinking of harvesting this weekend (day ~75) -- how does she look, folks?

(edit: thought I might mention that the cured stuff is now starting to taste/smell clearly more diesel than skunk!)

I'm a whiz at magic eye but I can never get the home made stereograms to work well. I did get a branch popping out off of your though if I used one eye's peripheral vision. Very cool!

Ah, now I kinda got it at full size. With the magic eye I'm used to staring at the center and having something pop out, with this you have to kind of magic eye just one of the pics.

This is the cross-eyed kind (which should be easier on the eye strain) versus a magic eye kind. For whatever reason, random dot stereograms are always wall-eyed, i.e. your eyes are pointed out more so they follow a parallel plane

I suppose the angle of pictures you take also makes them more suited for one kind of stereogram or the other. I used to make random dot stereograms as a kid -- pretty fun and now I simply cannot wait to relive the 3D excitement by getting a Nintendo 3DS when they come out later this month. That comes with a 3D camera to make 3D picture taking super-easy!

im new too but i think it looks good:)

thanks :)

Took her down today, day 75 with several weeks of fade (regular watering but no food) -- lots of purple everywhere as you can see, very photogenic! I'll try to use a good camera for some dry pictures soon enough... Smokes great! Well, not that it is easy to burn, but the high is wonderful. Same high as the stuff I harvested a few weeks ago except plus a nice body high!
