I find un-topped, but supercropped and l.s.t.'d combined works best. Or SOG lollipopped works good too.
I chop usually at end of 9 weeks cause I prefer the energetic side of OG and find 9 brings it out more instead of making me paralyzed.

thanks fer checking, any thoughts on the type of OG would be appreciated

:thank you:

nice, please no babies ruin tha thread by arguing over OG kush, the strain has had enough enjoy the pics for what they are. not a fan of kush but dayum can't deny it always loooks like fire

looks like katsu bubba,
i bet u like her @ 9 weeks, cus like u sed, 10-11 week (bubba) is paralyzing... imo 10-11 week og isnt paralyzing and is almost a necessary flowering time.
but thats hardly a bad thing, katsu/bubba is absolutely straight fire,
also, very very nice job growing her!
just my 2cents/experience, dont want a flame war!

the first pic has a nug structure that looks og'ish... The pulled plant pics definitely look more like a bubba, or a 'real' kush plant.
Og x Bubba would be a good guess.
Who knows, maybe if has a full on ogkush reek/smell.. and is just some indicia, bubba like og.

But ya, it definitely is diffferent than your typical og

all OG's I see have a very distinct growth pattern, you can spot it from a mile away the way the buds grow along the stem. also the leaves of OG are very distinct, Im no expert and altho that looks similar in some regards I dont think it is OG.

hmm, bubba hey?

Yeah like most you guys said doesn't really matter cause its good... but now I wanna figure it out cause its been my staple for a couple years....

I have looked at a shit load of OG & bubba pics online and I would say it looks more like OG than anything, but maybe my pics are not showing what she really looks like in real life.

I can take a few of the whole plant/ bud structure cause it defiantly has the OG branching and bud structure.

I got it from a respected grower in the local med scene, and it was his major strain then...
Would not surprise me if it isn't, OG... Im going to love the look on his face when I tell him peeps think its bubba, lol... he probably be like, "shit, they are on to me..."

anyway thanks for replies and I encourage all opinions cause its jus weed mang.

OOO, now that you mention it J, OGx Bubba sounds beyond likely,I even remeber both smoking and hearing of an OG x Bubba going around the BC area between 3-5 years ago. I know one was the Rushman cut (one of the first people i ever saw making Og X reversed bubba and selling the seeds).

that definitly looks like it has some bubba and some og influences.

How much does she stretch beginning of flower? OG stretches alot Bubba not so much...

stretch is 2+ times. slow vegging plant. takes off after flip....seems to keep stretching after week 2 even...if I open up different branches to light they stretch up even late into flowering.

The source its from grows only the finest around these areas, and like I said its was the staple for years, so 3-5 years ago sounds right, since I've had it for 2-3. They have moved on from it because of long flowering and low yield compared to other kush's with shorter flower and higher yield with same price tag, ie; pk...

thanks,

looks alot like the larry cut to me in some of those killer pic's but the whole plant shot looks bubba ish. dont get caught up in the name hype game its useless. As long as your happy with what you got thats what counts

yup I would agree it does look like larry cut sometimes....

I think the overview shot could be throwing people off... It rarely gets that wide and purple, just had lots of time to lst it and its been really cold where I live lately...

I agree it does not really matter what the name is, but there is a difference in og cuts and I need to put something on the jar.... bubba or og who knows... its still og to me... for now...

I should post some more pics maybe a whole plant shot might look different.

thanks

hmm i almost missed this, but the fact that you said the peeps who once held/passed this "OG" have moved on to PK (purple kush undoubtably) leads to me heavily believe its either katsu bubba or bubba x og. More than likely its bubba x og, which would be why ur homie called it just OG.

also as iron lion said, OG has pretty distinct leaf serrations/growth. and as far as ive heard/seen most cuts of OG do a solid 3x stretch in flowr.

finally ; dont take anything im saying as a slight, or disrespect, MY PERSONAL preference wen it comes to smoking leans toward bubba/pk, over OG, but OG is still some nice herb,
but if it were my room/babies, id be happyer to hear i had a bubba og, or a katsu, than an OG..... unless it was the Valley cut I keep seeing pictures of... ;)

Sometimes I dream the Canadian scene (van, mtl, to) will step up to the Cali scene in terms of genetics... or maybe its just one of those "grass is greener" scenarios
