just finished first batch. before i added alcohol i added about 3 grams of kief to the 1oz of ak47 trim. got about 2grams of dark amber oil filled a vile to the brim. check it out!!
In my experience qwiso yielded better for me than bubble, want to buy some bubble bags?

I probably would have added the kief after the qwiso myself though.
a lot of the kief was junk is the idea im getting else i would have gotten waaay more oil. id bet half the kief isnt even thc other particles thats y i added before

We use different extraction methods for different reasons, but solvent extraction will always yield more than either bubble or dry sieve, because you have to beat the material too much to get a full yield with either of those methods. Beating it that hard adds undesirable plant material and drops the potency.

I really wish I had read this thread before I made my QWISO. I've been making a ton of it lately, but have been giving it about 30-45 seconds in a gallon ziplock, cutting the corner off the ziplock, squeezing the hell out of it like an icing bag, pouring it through a paper towel into a big pyrex bowl, then setting the bowl underneath a light exhaust that is hooked up to a carbon filter to keep dust out. my trim is kinda purple and has a few fan leaves in it. what im left with is a purple liquid at the bottom of the bowl with honey on the sides with a dusting of purple over it. I then set it on top of one of my 600's that is on 24/7 and am left with a glazing of dark purple on the bottom, yellowish gold on the sides. It turns into a thick hash looking material when i scrape it cold and its hard to get off. Warm it up on the stove for a minute and its much easier to scrape off. It's really dark and solid once it cools, almost like tar. Any suggestions?
Hehe, I've extracted kief with alcohol, got just 37% of it back as oil. Kief is 63% crap, just like most bubblehash.
The lab where I had my oil tested said my oil was very strong, they've never had anything test over 70%, high sixties is the best they've seen.
Trying a new setup next week with electric hotplates, double boilers and teflon lined bags. Stay tuned!

lol i got some chemsour at day #103 just been letting them sit on the plant oz worth of baby buds. should get some really knock out hash from that. whats the best way to make hash with actual buds? grind them up with normal grinder? or finely grind them with coffee grinder? thanks

Its super potent and taste amazing but the yield is super low haha,
its a run straight through with no shake, then it was dried under the sun , yeah big HPS the real one which give it that intensity red, it is more red in real life as a deep clear see through red, i hadda break it up from the glass beacuse it was just thin layer ...
ill try to make another batch soon,,,

Ah yeah that's what I was thinking, my wife calls em pencil shavings when I make it that way. Cold dried, then scraped up when it's dry. A shorter wash will give lighter color, but decreases yields further. Pencil shavings are easier to handle than oil, but over the next few weeks it will slowly turn into oil and get sticky. Good job Red!
