new project t8 ballasts and ballast factors

Hehe, Neon do give some nice results, but HPS give super results
at the end if you smoke it and your happy, i guess its all that counts!

Nice! So where did you score the T8 ballast from? I have a box of 24 T8s just collecting dust.

dubfiend used to grow some amazing looking flouro buds so why cant I?
I still have to cram another 14 tubes in there.
SOG and LST techniques will provide for decent yields and good quality smoke. Besides I can always pull this light out and throw my sodium back in there in about 5 mins if I have to.

Enough rambling. The ballasts (4 so far) were bought at a lighting supply place about 20 mins from me. 14 bucks a pop for Phillips Advance electronic 4 bulb ballast with a .92 ballast factor. so 56 bucks in ballasts with another 4 to be purchased.

Best Ballast Factor you can find and theres no humming, just silence. 512 wattsx(.92 ballast factor) = 471 actually watts being used

You can sometimes find the places that sell used refurbished magnetic t8 ballasts for a couple dollars a piece as well.

sorry for the double post people
I have a confirmed 4 females and 5 males AutoAK. Every single male is in full bloom. the girls have yet to do much besides pop a few pre flowers. Should I Try and bag a male? So I can keep pollen ready for when the girls start to flower? How long will these dudes keep spraying pollen, can I isolate my male and just leave him for the next 6 weeks?

The blueberry seedlings are rocking.
Bagseeds are doing well. Im experimenting with hempy style buckets. I might switch over and leave soil behind. If all goes well.
