Man, looking at that Haze brings me back.......

um... 2 months ago:laughing:

I can feel gray hair forming just thinking of next years Haze run;)

Looking real good, UHN!

Wish all the best.

GM:wave:

Yes, I'm looking forward to your run as well! Are you still enjoying the last run? If so, do you feel quality is getting better the longer she matures?

Once this lone OTH finishes, I will start planning next years outdoor run. I'm thinking of re running this female along with a female I hope to find from the OTH 3F x 6M - preferably purple. Also look to run a Tom Hill Haze and possibly a Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze for a chunkier haze experience.

Here's a few new shots as she starts week 17.

Thanks Ur Humbl Nr8tor for your ace hazy updates :)

The green haze female looks like the typical green pheno, aromas should be woody, spicy and incensey. Oldtimer's haze needs a long curing, please let us know what do you think about her after a good curing.

The Bangi Hazes look very very nice ;) im glad to hear you are happy with their resin production, aromas and fast flowering. Great sativa choice for fast indoor growing.

Best wishes for 2011!

Dubi, thanks for the kind words! I wish you and Ace collective best in 2011 as well!

Yes, the green Old Timer's Haze is strong spice and pepper. Some wood, but also metal caustic/astringent. Slight floral note in the background. I will give her proper cure and report in some months my impression.

Bangi Hazes are looking very nice, Dubi. Aroma's are strong, no doubt. Some of the stronger plants I have grown. I'm really impressed with the trifoliate I found. Nice, dense, powerful aromas. As she matures, there is a red hue taken by her leaf. A real beauty. Will keep all posted to how she finishes her journey.

I hate to say it, but I believe the Old Timer's Haze's time has come. It is officially 17 weeks this evening that she's been outdoors flowering. I looked at a few flowers and they are almost 100% cloudy with the very occasional clear or amber. All hairs are red and I have not seen new flower signs for quite some time. I might consider letting her go another week, but I will be gone for a few days next week and every day she has one or two dead calyxes which mold very quickly if they are not hand picked off. I am not interested in growing her this long to have her mold on me at the end. She will be missed around the house as the classy lady that she is.

Last full day of flower.

One snip of the garden shears and it was done. 17 weeks exactly. Could have gone perhaps another week, but I think she is ready. You can find a few ambers if you look closely.

It was fairly warm and dry, so she dried pretty quick. I trimmed and placed in a jar before she got too dry. This will let her sweat dry the rest of the way.

Smell is lovely and spicy with a bit of that metal kick. There is a bit of a sour mentholated nose to her. Very exotic smelling! After the sweat, she will hunker in the fridge for a nice long cure.

Thanks Ace!!

Awesome, UHN! Seriously Well Grown!

Making it look so easy, Homie! Maybe you should put a new disclaimer on your signature; Subjects in this Grow may be more difficult than they appear. Congratulations.

all the best, and I hope you enjoy ALOT!

Too funny GreenMind, she does take some dedication and love, but given the right ingredients (good air, water, soil and sun), she can be tamed even in my small outdoor plot. She seems to be much more of a pris in the indoor cabinet. I'll let you know how she smokes in a while after a nice cure.

Bangi Hazes are wrapping up and my significant other couldn't be happier. She is sick and tired of the extreme aroma they put off. Just being in the room (no touchy feely) and the wreak clings to me. My favorite is developing nice purple highlights as she finishes. I'll post some pics sometime in the next week.

Cheers,

Thanks gkn, always glad to see you stopping by. I am looking forward to your new adventures!

Bacchus, a pleasure as well. These OTH1's are not for the impatient, but give them a little bit of love and they repay you with lovely citrus and pepper spiced jars. Still a ways from an official sample as they will do best after a nice long cure.

Here are a few shots of the Bangi Hazes at chop. Over 11 weeks and could have maybe gone another few days, but I needed to wrap them up in order to jar them before an upcoming trip.

As I described in the Bangi Haze thread, these plants are ridiculously stinky. Think Onions, Garlic, skunk (animal). They are stronger than Sour Diesel I have grown in the past. Anyone looking for a RKS should be happy growing these ladies out. Get the biggest can filter you can if you want to be stealth. I live in a med friendly area, so I let them rip and it is intense. Just being in the room and you wreak for some time after. I'll be happy when these are jarred and I can go back to smelling a bit better - ha.

Here's a couple of shots of the clone Senor Garcia. This plant would be wonderful for the indoor micro grower wishing to experience a nice sativa flower. Very little stretch from clone, she got to be about 8 inches tall. About a 10-11 week harvest. Not a great yielder but in a SOG or SCROG, could be better. SOme of the largest bracts I have ever seen on a cannabis plant.

Dubi, the pleasures have been all mine. Thanks to you and the Ace collective for these fine genetics. I'll post smoke reports on all of them in due time. A 3 week business trip will keep me away from my jars while they ripen.

I have a clone of the OTH1 female in my cabinet. She did not like root restriction and dropped many fan leaves. After a transplant and 12 weeks of flowering, she is really starting to pack on the new pistils. I am considering finishing her outdoors or at least keeping her out while I am gone over the coming month. I kept clones of the two Bangi Haze, but one is very sickly and does not look to survive.

Most likely will try to sprout some of the old 3 x 6 OTH1 line in March. These are old seeds, so I hope they will not be problematic. I would like to run them for outdoor clone selection this year.

Saludo!

Thanks for your kind of words Ur Humbl Nr8tor :)

Very few people have the patience and courage to grow extreme tropical like oldtimer's haze nowadays.

Oldtimer's haze has a very long flowering, and it's not easy to keep her healthy till the end, especially growing her in pots. A good tip for the flowering is to re pot her frequently in the first 2-3 months of flowering, yield will be quite higher and they wont lose so many leaves cos the lack of nutrients and salt saturation. Outdoors in soil is completly different, wish you have the chance to grow her in a sunny and warm climate, it's a great pleasure, she grows and grows ... finishing without deficiencies.

Hope it helps and best wishes for the next haze selection! :artist:

The Old Timer's Haze looks magnificant! Looks identical to some of the best phenos I found when growing these seeds a cpl sumemrs ago. They were started outdoors early summer, and allowed to flower all fall long outdoors. I brought them indoors and finished up in mid January. My favorite pheno was a leathery, spicy pheno. Also have some OTH x Afghan seeds to run this year outdoors. I will most def be playing with these in the not so distant future. Thanks for sharing brother, this is a very special plant.

Hello Mad.Dapper,

Im glad you have had the chance to experience and harvest oldtimer's haze, it's indeed a very special line! The oldtimer's haze we have been offering it was pure haze, but we also have been distributing haze x thai seeds lately.

Thanks for your feedback and best wishes with the oldtimer's haze x afghan cross :)

M.D.,

Sorry for delayed response. I've been traveling in EU (with obligatory stop in Amsterdam) for the past few weeks. Finally back to my own bed...

I'm glad you enjoyed reading about my OTH1 adventures. Would love to see some pics from your grows if they are available.

Cheers,
