Nice funk, they both look tasty as hell! Yeah I'm gonna be experimenting with a different technique to try and get the white to shine.

What technique is that cobcoop?
I'm upping the humic during late veg and into the 5th week of flower or so, as well as letting them really dry out a little more than I am comfortable with. We'll see what happens. :)

Right on, let us know how that goes for sure! I have been letting them get pretty dry before feeding, think I may do the opposite and try to keep them more wet ;). Possibly try some blumats.

Merlot - the bluemats are cool, especially if you are running a super soil and using only h2o

Might it be a good idea when letting em dry out a lot to just give em a tiny splash of water when the lights first come on, then feeding them 45min-1 hour later, so you don't burn your girls with feed solution in dry soil?

Yeah I'm pretty confident my feeding regiment won't burn the plants... animal/fish poo FTMFW

<<<<<< Not a soil grower....but I've seen other soil growers do this when the soil gets real dry....thats why I ended the post in a ? mark.....but yea, makes sense they wouldn't burn if you aren't feeding salts.

Humic FTW....
Yup, I just started using The Other Tomato and the humic acid and all the live cultures/bacteria in it seems to have done wonders for my growth. My DNA Sour Kush was all droopy and dry the other day (too long in between waterings) and I gave her a nice dose of Other Tomato plus a hit of some Bio-Bizz Bloom and came back 2 hours later to leaves standing and pointing directly to the ceiling (got pictures of it, kinda geeked me out). My C-99 x C-99 has been loving it as well... they always seem to get crazy perky a few hours after watering... definitely keeping that product as a part of my regimen.

I think what they are trying to accomplish is even watering. When I had a real small garden I would water about half a gallon of water, let it "set" in and then come back over the top with the nutrients to make sure it was uniformly wet. Now i just water all at once with nutrients and do it in ten second increments.
