Using just perlite as a medium?

Hey all, I recently completed setting upmy grow space. I have promix bx and a shit ton of perlite. Seeing as how I just purchased a nice new ph/ec meter I was wondering if theres a way for me to use hydro nutes with just perlite as a medium?
Should the ph be the same as for hydro? 5.7-5.8?

I have dj shorts original
Im not even sure if Im in the right place, Indoor soil didnt look right so I went to the hydro forum.

There are numerous threads on the subject as well as documented non-cannabis grows using perlite only available at the touch of a fingertip. Try googling (or scroogling if you're paranoid) "growing in perlite".

It's called hempy buckets or hempy style. I am a new grower and I tried it. I do not recommend doing it for your first time. I had issues with nutrient burn and lock out.

Im talking about just watering with hydro nutes in containers full of perlite? Is this a hempy style setup?
If you flush how can you get lockout and nute burns, i just bought a nice ec/ph/temp meter
I thought it would be easy to wash all the excess salts out of perlite and it would be easier than promix

Dude, what you need to do is go READ the hempy threads. No reason for anyone else to type out answers to these questions. There are THOUSANDS of pages about hempy and about perlite.

Yup ...Have to agree .... Hempys . but i like the vermiculite added for less watering .
