Hello all and welcome to my new vert grow. I am usually a SOG man but as things and times change it has become a better option for me to lessen the plant numbers and up the veg time, its gonna be hard because Im used to no veg. Well as it stands now it looks like Ill be doing a shrub/bush style grow with 4 plant per 1000watt, Ill be using tomato cages for support as the strain im using likes to get to heavy for itself around the sixth week. Ill be putting in 4 plant every 2 weeks and pulling out four plants every two weeks, should be quite productive. Im running a recirculating drip in five gallon bucket with hydroton, and I am pulse feeding every four hours.
I currently am running Dieselrella from DGS I will be running a plethora of strain through this room but for now this is my lady. I have been handing this cut out as the degenerate cut, as I find it makes me degenerate from intelligent to retarded shortly after I smoke it.She is pineapple smelling with a much harder kick than the usual C99 and much more indica feeling.

Well glad to see people are so interested, Maybe I started this thread preemptively.
Well The room is finally done and the girl are on their last day of veg. The light is horizontal in the pic because I veg like a flat garden. I find that plants vegged vertically dont veg as quick and tend to become stringy
The strain Im running I have run many time but never in a hydro system so I am really excited to see how they blow up. They tend to stretch a lot and the arms cant hold the buds up after week six , so ill be using tomato cages to keep these girls inline
Well heres a few pics of the ladies ready to get going in to flower, Now normally they will be alot larger but due to time restraints and a very demanding schedule I have to star flowering these girls out so i can get the next set out of the E&F tray and in to buckets

looks great so far your plants are bout as big as mine. how much you trying to pull off each plant? do you have separate rez's for each group of four in flower?

Hey Who, nice to have ya. Well I always lowball myself just to make sure my expectations can be met. So to be completely conservative id say they will yield about two to three zips per plant, so hopefully Ill be pulling down about a 1/2 to 3/4 p per every two weeks. I have grown this plant out many times, I am estimating based on my results in a soiless mix. Yes I have a rez for each group so I can change the nute mix depending on how far they are into flower. Im using GH flora series right now with a modified lucas formula that includes Koolbloom for part of the flower cycle.
I just checked out your grow who, looks good, your gonna have to keep that trainwreck in check, she likes to get tall, stringy and likes to flop her bud all over the place.

Hey all here's a little update. So I have hung a second 1000w light in the flower room and moved the last of the flowering plants in the old flower room into the new flower room. I also got the next set of plants into buckets from the E&F tray, These Are Pure Power Plant from GN they were freebies so I gave them a shot and found a very nice mother, Its very dense and spicy smelling, the high is up and social and it yields well with good bag appeal. Definatly a keeper but not so much my bag of tea, I'm an indica man personally I grow this out for family, They prefer a more sociable high.. Ill only be putting two of these in as my plant shcedule is 4 plants go in then two weeks later 2 plants og in then 4 in another two weeks then 2 two weeks later and so on and so forth. I think doing it this way will less-in my big monthly jobs in to more manageable bi monthly jobs. We shall see

Shit Marlo your right on time, this rooms about to really get going in the next few weeks. Ive been keepin my eye on your grow and damn, besides the awesome strain selection you are running, you are very good at keeping up with the plants and keeping them in check. Thanks for dropping by and please insights and suggestions are very appreciated, Im new to vert growing and could use all the advise I can get

I learned the hard way what happens when you don't keep up with the girls. Veg'n big + vert = alot of trimming if you want a quality end product.
My best piece of advice is to start training now, right thru to about week 6 to keep it from looking like a tornado swept thru there. You look like your on the right track

Originally I was going to do a screen like you do but I realized I would be lighting at least two side of the plant so I thought a circular cage would work better. Ive been keeping the insides of the plants cleared out of new growth and am trying to train the arms so the plant uses the most of the light available. Thanks for the heads up Marlo

Might be a good idea to get some twist ties for the future.
The cages will hold all the branches in, and you can secure them with the twisties when all the fat buds start leaning! Enjoy.

Yeah that tube needs to go, its not like I am even cooling it. Ill be replacing that tube with a new light here soon just needed to get these girls started and that was the only complete light that I had that wasn't in use. Thanks for dropping in red, Ive been keeping an eye on your stadium grow. Got some nice shots you put up today

Hello all. Got to say Im loving this new drip system, no hassle no worries. Oh and explosive growth to say the least. So week one is down and the girls are really getting into their stretch. Not much is happening yet though soon come. Anywho Ive got the next set lined up to go in in about 12 days, Its two PPP. They have less stretch than the Dieselrella so im trying to make sure they go in big, I have read a bunch here that has said stretchy strains work better in vert set ups. Hopefully it is stretchy enough

Hey all Just got a weekly update, First wanna let Red know I got rid of that POS cooltube( I know that the picture does not reflect my statement), thank you for calling it to my attention. Second Marlo you were right these girls are gonna need to be tied up.
Well here's a few pics of the room a couple days ago
And here is the next two getting ready to go in in about a two weeks.




These are PPP. I popped them not expecting to find anything of interest and low and behold I found this gem. She smells sweet and floral and has quite a kick in the head, Also produces some amazingly dense bud, These girls got neglected for a while in an E&F system so they had mites bad and some PM, Just cleared that up yesterday with some Floromite and some Eagle 20

Looking great AP.

You'll be happy you got rid of the cooltube, as long as temps stay in line. A floor fan pushing air up to the bulb always helps.
You ever get grounded by your parents when you were little, and had to watch thru the window as all your friends played outside. Then the next day, you were happy as hell when you got to go out and play in the summer sun....now that you trashed the cooltube, your plants are off punishment and can have some sun.

I like that analogy Marlo, My girls are ready to play. They sure look like they are bursting in o flower and can use all the watts they can get, Hopefully Ill be getting in the third light in the next few days so I can light the back sides.
Red, They fun is about to start we are moving into the middle of the second week and they are responding well to the koolbloom. Ill get some photos up in a few so you can see the explosion into flower these ladies are doing
