What's new

Pakistan Chitral Kush

Hello everyone and thanks ACE for these wonderful genetics. I was on a hunt for pure lines and stumbled upon these. I really appreciate the variety of landraces ACE/Canna BioGen offer.
So i popped a few and ill comment on photos as i post.

Here is 3 days after dropping in some distilled water. RW cubes are presoaked with GH 1.25ml/gal micro and 1.25 bloom. PH 5.6ish

picture.php

Two of these were placed into 4x4 RW cube and the other was placed in a 3x3x2.5 RW block immediately following these pics

picture.php

I took these pics yesterday which would make it 46 days from seed. Sorry for the gap in pics. Being fed 2.5ml/gal micro 5ml/gal bloom GH nutes. PH still 5.6ish

Santa brought some preflowers.... both confirmed....

So.....I started with 3. Long story short = the smaller RW cube was allowed to become to dry. I lost the purple pheno. Maybe these will display some colors but the one that was lost was pure velvet. These will be placed in 6" net pot lids on 3.5 gal buckets with 2 gallons of nutes Lucas style starting at 3.75micro7.5bloom, LECA surrounding the RW, and an air stone on the bottom of bucket for classic single DWC. 400watt CMH will illuminate them. At the moment they are under 2-4' T8 flouros Phillips daylight 6500k
If goes as planned should be updating with pics each week every week until harvest. I dont believe they will be flowered for another 2-3 weeks unless space is not permitting. Thanks for looking and stay tuned.

EdIsOnnOsIdE, they look so pretty bro! Nice compact structure, typical from the best expressions ime.

I take a place :tiphat:

Ras Pablo....Thanks for taking a place.... Yes they are compact for sure. Now that they have proper settings i am hoping to LST one and maybe top the other.....probably tie both down to promote side branching for cuttings. Its an ever changing world. We'll see what happens. Here are some more shots :

The new babies.....going fast.

So.......I changed the nutes for the first time since transfer into buckets. Same 3.75/7.5 mix. LST time. Its probably normal for most lsters but i like to tie a string on the lowest area of stem for support. Tie the top down in opposing direction. I tie them to the metal bucket handles. I took those pics before i do this but i then cut off all branches on the underside. Normally i cut the fan leaves off under there too but i decided to leave them on until i see some branching response. I cut them for airflow but am not worried about that at this time. I took the time to rub some stems. I dunno. Im getting some jelly flavors. black current is a description i have heard before although i am unfamiliar with that smell. Some kinda jam. Kinda faint but its there.
The new seedlings look vigorous. I dont remember them developing this fast. I will be switching to a nute mix of 2.5micro/2.5bloom per gallon most likely tomorrow. It depends if the blocks are drying out enough. I judge them by weighing them in hand. The ol' feel method. Thanks for looking.......

So........ Buckets still being fed 3.75/7.5 micro/bloom per gal ph at 5.7. They are branching out nicely. You can tell the one with the bigger fan leaves is responding better to training. It bounced back up faster when i ties it down. I think i will be taking a few more cuts off each one and tieing the remainder of the branches down for a second tie-down. I hope to switch to 12/12 in less than 10 days. Te seedlings are doing well they are being fed 1.75/1.75 micro/bloom per gallon. I was going to go to 2.5/2.5per gal but the blocks took a long time to start drying out. I just feel to little is better than too much at this delicate stage. Thanks for looking
