heck yeah, they let my buddies go with a grip of hash, in some dozen containers. My buddies showed them their cards, and their dispensary id badge. The cop apologized. lol That's right, he knows who bought his new patrol car... donations from the dispensary.

Congratulations, NOKUY.

I am certain that being legit MMJ cardholder in Colorado is a big relief.
Someday, I hope to be able to claim the same thing in California.

Peace to you and yours.

Yes4Prop215, you must be talking about Solano County, CA.

I'm sitting here in Solano Co. right now, and wondering how repressive LEOs can be here, so close to the backwaters of SF Bay. Time for me to get off my duff and mosey over to greener pastures ...

congrats YUK!

so if you can't grow 35 plants how many will they allow?

the med cards great bro but how does it play in the drug tests @ work now? will they be forced to accept the unknown strength of quantities of residuals found in your tests? After all their fallback is "we don't know if he medicated last night or right before he walked in the door." Perhaps a plausible issue in the gas industry.

How does the wife feel about it bro?

Thanks everyone  ....really am totally stoked!!!

S4L bro....when i came back to colorado i went back to my previous job as a production mgr for a manufacturing company.....

i make about 25% more than i was making in the gas industry, and no UA's ever.....plus get to live in a medical state.... and back in the woods (i live and work in the mountains)....(haven't cut or combed my hair since getting back either)

the wife is super stoked...since she is a texas native it's still kind of crazy to her that weed can be legally grown at home....even for medicine. (...and that there is a dispensary around every corner) ...there are more dispensaries in colorado than starbucks.

as for numbers, the state law is 6 plants and only 3 can be flowering, and you can possess 2 oz's of useable product. (plenty fair to to me)

the wife can get her card too due to an ATV accident that caused some back problems...so we will be able to have 12 plants and 6 flowering and a QP in possession.

....oh and as for the 35 plant rec. ....if the laws change in the future the doctors rec. for plant count might hold some weight. right now all it does is help you in court if u get busted for having over the legal limit of 6 plants....but you would have to fight that....we're gonna keep it legal.

unless its a union or high security clearance job like military...employers usually shy away from the mmj issue unless there is a problem like someone obviously loaded on the job...but if the job fires the stoner he could possibly sue because how can we know if you were high on the job for sure and not at home the night b4...so the companies just say fuck it with weed unless there is a big problem.
