think I'll be snaggin these too. is the pheno fairly stable bio? do I need more than one pack?

edit: saw the 1 in 20 comment, is that total package pheno or is it that the euphoria pheno is that rare?

Most of the phenos turn into exceptional smoke. There are a couple that are a little stronger than the rest with less tollerance. Those are the ones they are talking about.

But it is an amazing cannabis specimen without a doubt, if you have the cash go for 2 packs, and keep the best pheno/phenos you get. I haven't seen much Ice Cream at dispensaries, and I think it would really provide a lot of medical treatment to the community.

Happy Growing,

Ill post a shot of my ic baby 2 wks from germ/seed 2nite indica lookn so far.

I really hope your find that key pheno again. When I get more space and time, I may grab a couple more packs of Ice Cream and re-initiate Pheno hunting.

What a fun and rewarding chase, pheno hunting is with any strain's lineage...

Hey guys, i am the one who wrote the description for ice cream and grew the plants you see on the seed packs and in various strain guides etc...

The red phenotype you see on the pack of seeds is the most vanilla-strawberry like of the bunch.

The greener, columnar pheno is the highest yielding.

The best pheno i encounterd in all of my test runs was an extremely low yielding oone compared to here sisters, very lanky with large internodal spacing but the resin content and quality of the high was quite something. It smells and tastes like a dark cherry skunk vanilla mix and the high is extremely euphoric, i mean high school first joint kind of euphoria, uncontrollable even for the most serious and anal of smokers.

OK, so youre saying that some guy that wrote a thread on this board that tried some ice cream and found it didn t resemble his results stated that the seed pack pic squat indca phenotype) wasn t ice cream? please...
Maybe you can write Luc and ask him if that plant is really ice cream, that will clear things up for you.

DId i say that the special pheno was easily findable? I was the first tester of ice cream and i have tested many many phenotypes in 2004-05. The special one appeared only once. maybe you will be lucky enough to get it in your next run.

The way you imply that 20 seeds will show you all that a breed has to offer is laughable at best.

Dam Ras Mason, those look killer wish I had a pheno like that, solid yield! The special pheno in the last pic is more like the one I got. But is't just not strong enough for me. I'm going to run that pheno one more time but, I'm not sure I have the time to do a good pheno search...maybe throw down a 10 pack outdoor and see what comes of it.
I ran a small budded pheno outdoor and it didn't ever really take off, although it was a little neglected, we had the best summer for growing here in many years and it just didn't want to grow.

Wow great to hear. The Ice Cream photos used by Paradise are such a sick grow. You really tuned in your environment, quite impressive.

Thanks for helping share some insight on the different phenos. BTW, do you have any insight into the genetics used to make Ice Cream. From our guesses we settled upon [Sensi Star x KKSC] x Sensi Star. For some reason the smell of Ice cream reminds me exactly of KK Strawberry Cough, nothing else has even smelled like it =] Let me know..

Thanks for the compliment.
The physical structure of the plant is an helpfull indicator, but certainly not the most important one... i would look first for the cherry vanilla smell, reminsicent of a cough drop mixed with dr pepper kindof smell. then the tye of trichomes, here, extremely tight rows of abnormally geometrically linear formations, extremely white in color noticeably early in developement.
I imagine it must be possible to find a similar terpenes and cannabinoid ratio as the special cut on a vegetative support that is more bearing,

Thanks my man.

Luc likes to keep certain secrets about certin genetics. So even if ido know some things about certain genetics, i will have to respect his will and keep quiet about it. However, i can ask if he is willing to share now and if he does i will come back and let you guys know.

Still running it?
Unfortunately no.
i have so many breeds to try and s many to produce for patients that i often loose some to meet new ones.
PLus holding too strong on some things tend to make you a worse person with time, even if it s a good thing.

If Ras Mason is who I think he was at PG (Tph), then he's Luc's guy and we are lucky to have him contribute in this thread.

That's great news. Hopefully he will hang around and help add more knowledge and discussion to this thread.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your well researched first hand experiences with Ice Cream.

Dank Regards,
