Indoor Grow - Soil questions?
Hello I have a few questions for any knowledgeable growers:

What should the PH of water be before i add any nutrients?

what should the PH of water be after adding nutrients?

what should the PH of soil be?

If I'm using fox-farm ocean forest soil, and using Age Old Organics nutrients(grow,kelp,bloom,seaweed), do I need to add anything else to the soil?

If I have a 6 x 6 tent and a 1000w air-cooled HPS light:

The optimal area footprint would be 5 x 5 correct?

How many plants should I grow under a 5 x 5 area?

How tall should they be when put into 12/12?

2 or 3 gallon smart pots?

Should I feed my plants nutrients every other watering? water/feed/water/feed

Is there a general feeding chart that I could at least go by?

Increasing PPM's each nutrient feeding makes the plant grow bigger buds correct?

What kind of nutrient additives should I use at the start of flower for increasing flower sites?

What kind of nutrient additives should I use at Mid flower (5-6 weeks 12/12) for increasing flower bulk and size?

don't add pH adjustments prior to ferts

what should the PH of water be after adding nutrients?

depending on your additives, 6.3 to 6.8

what should the PH of soil be?

I'd shoot for ~6.5

50 wpsf is typical

you have to determine a few variables

that's the general idea. watch your plants, know your visible signs of deficiencies, toxicities and pH balance/imbalance.

either by experience or someone else' formula

to a point. your FFOF will feed for 3 or 4 weeks. after that, look for signs of defs and feed accordingly.

With the number of questions, IMO you'll get much better info reading than you'll get here.

well..
if i were you i would invest a few dollars in a book (cervantes for example) or get a tutorial dvd to get an idea about the basics.

afterwards all answers you can get here on this forum will make so much more sense to you.
you can also find excellent tutorials online!

Those answers should help a bunch, Thanks. I do ton's of reading and research on growing, this site has been so helpful. I just wanted some straight answers from some experienced growers before I step up my grow.

Read, read and when you're done, read some more.
There's enough info in these forums that you shouldn't have to ask some of the more basic questions?
If you don't know what's the proper pH for your nutes in soil, you haven't read enough.

check out other grow diaries that are similar to your set up...you got the rest of your life to dial it all in
